1 starDue to my heart disease, I am no longer able to travel as readily as I used to. I have reached out to Hyatt to get some sort of hardship exit for my timeshare. However, their lawyer, ***** *****, and some guy named Hutch *** [p] are telling me that although I am physically unable to use the timeshare as I once did, Hyatt is UNDER NO OBLIGATION to assist. They have refused to assist at every juncture. They will NOT HELP DO ANYTHING. I would keep away from this disgraceful company and their money-grubbing lawyers.Review fromDayanis V

1 starI would never recommend the Hyatt ************* at **************** in Dorado, especially if you have any medical needsor simply expect basic clarity and honesty when booking. We booked this hotel through Expedia, thinking it was near our destination. Instead, it turned out to be 45 minutes awaysomething that was not clearly disclosed during booking. By the time we realized, it was too late.Worse, my fianc is diabetic and needs refrigerated insulin. We could not check in because the hotel couldnt properly accommodate this medical necessity. We urgently had to find another safe place to stay.I tried multiple times to contact the hotel to explain the situationcalling at 5:00 AM, 7:00 AM, and 9:00 PMand no one ever answered. There was no way to speak to anyone or get help. Despite all this, the hotel has refused to refund us.This wasnt about preferenceit was about health and safety. Their complete lack of compassion, communication, and flexibility during a medical emergency is inexcusable. If you're traveling with any kind of special needor simply expect basic servicedo not stay here. There are better, safer, and more humane options elsewhere.HV Global Group, Inc.

We are very sorry to hear of Mr. ************ experience at Hyatt ************* ***********************. While we strive to make sure that all Guests enjoy their time with us, and are sympathetic to Mr. ************ unique experience; unfortunately, the terms of the pre paid reservations are made very clear on the website at the time of booking. The website also clearly defines the distance from the airport and shows quite plainly that all rooms have refrigerators. We are sorry that no-one was available to speak with Mr. ********** at the time he called - Hyatt Vacation Ownership always wants to deliver upon our Guests' expectation but we must do so in accordance with the terms of booking. We do hope that Mr. ********** is able to enjoy some time at one of our properties soon.Review fromDouglas H

1 starMISERABLE. STAY AWAY. GREED RULES THE ****** wife and I deeply regret purchasing a Hyatt resort timeshare. The yearly fees keep increasing - even though we were told that "it will never go beyond 3% to 5% increase per year - our first increase was over 10%!! We are not paying the new maintenance fee/s and are trying to find a way out of this contract. It is very difficult to book anything as they offer those who purchase even MORE points the ability to book further in advance - leaving those who do not continue to do all of the ridiculous 'point upgrades' no ability to get the dates and locations that we want. To boot, they could care less - it's all about getting your money. We feel trapped and want out of this agreement, which has brought us only frustration and regret. Avoid this program at all costs. Avoid the HYATT ************* at all costs.HV Global Group, Inc.

1 starOur experience with Hyatt Residence Club ************************** has been nothing but disappointing. We were lured in with a "free" stay that required attending a high-pressure, 4-hour sales meeting. Despite voicing concerns, we felt coerced into signing. Using the timeshare has been a nightmarelocations are overbooked, housekeeping was nonexistent during stays (12/2022, 6/2022), and maintenance issues were constant. The rising fees are unjustified, and we've found better options like ******* This timeshare has been a financial strain and far from the promises made. Avoid at all costs.HV Global Group, Inc.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We regret to hear about your unpleasant sales experience and will be sure to address your concerns with the leadership teams however after the point of sale we offer a 10-dau recession period which allows you to review your purchase and decide whether to cancel or move forward. Additionally, maintenance fees are agreed upon and collected by the owner's association, and we have no control over their increase. We appreciate your feedback and are here to assist you in any way we can. If you have any further concerns or need assistance, please dont hesitate to reach out.Review fromLeo B

1 starHyatt really knew how to take advantage of me and my family. They were so convincing that they were going to help me resolve my past issues with the high rising cost of maintenance fees and conversion of points. We were told that we would be able to take great vacations if we upgraded our points. Its all a big money scheme they do, and they do it very well. I strongly recommend avoiding anyone who calls or approaches you offering gifts just to attend their so-called owner presentations. Its really a scam to get you in, hold your ID and not allow you to leave until they deceivingly convince you that purchasing points is the deal of a lifetime. If you want a lifetime of high rising maintenance fees, then Hyatt is the place to go. Do not invest your money in something worthless that not even Hyatt would buy back. The sales representatives titles should really be changed to con artist, because thats what they do, is con you into a lifetime of debt for a worthless timeshare.HV Global Group, Inc.

We are truly sorry to hear about your experience with Hyatt ************** It is concerning to learn that you felt taken advantage of and pressured during the sales process. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the rising maintenance fees and the conversion of ********* the point of sale, we strive to provide clear and transparent information about the costs and benefits of ownership. We ensure that our owners sign and acknowledge these key points about the purchase. Additionally, we provide a 10-day rescission period for our owners to review the purchase documents and decide if they would like to move forward with the purchase.Review fromMarlon I

1 starRight off the bat, booking a resort was a nightmare. Everything was either booked up, or I didnt have enough pointsexcept for *********. Once I finally managed to make a reservation, nobody mentioned I'd have to pay a fee if I canceled. To make matters worse, despite being on a do-not-call list, Ive been bombarded with monthly calls to attend ownership meetings. I opted for a plan to pay maintenance dues every other year, but was blindsided by constant increases. It was only when someone trying to schedule me for another meeting mentioned that these dues are forever, and my kids would inherit them, that I realized how deep I was in. During a meeting in *********, I asked about new resorts that were supposedly in the pipeline, but the representative seemed clueless. They confirmed dues were perpetual and suggested I buy more points for a better experience. Not surprisingly, I didnt fall for it again. The initial selling points that got me hooked turned out to be lies. Selling the timeshare is impossible, because anyone in the know realizes how flawed the program is. Without any heads-up, I discovered the **** family sold to Hyatt ************* while logging into the portal. Now, Hyatt wants me to switch to their points, claiming itll make life easierjust another deception. My patience is worn thin, especially since Ive paid everything off. When I tried to cancel, they dismissed me, saying theres no way to exit the agreement. This is unacceptable, and I desperately need help to cut ties with this timeshare.HV Global Group, Inc.

Im sorry to hear about your frustrating experience with Hyatt ************** It sounds like youve faced several unexpected challenges, from booking issues and hidden fees to relentless calls and rising maintenance dues. The perpetual nature of these dues and the lack of transparency are especially concerning. Regarding the booking process, availability can sometimes be limited due to high demand, and its important to check your points balance to ensure you have enough for your desired reservation. Cancellation fees are typically outlined in the terms and conditions, but I understand it can be frustrating if this wasnt clearly communicated. As for the maintenance dues, these are indeed ongoing and can increase over time. We value your feedback and are committed to improving our services. Your patience is appreciated, and we hope to resolve this matter to your satisfaction.Review fromDiana M

1 starI'm really disappointed with our timeshare experience. What was meant to be a dream investment has turned into a major source of stress and frustration. The lack of flexibility has made it tough to plan vacations that fit our schedules, making our ownership feel more like a burden than a benefit. Plus, with our kids no longer interested in the same trips, it just feels excessive. We reached out to cancel and explained our financial situation, but instead of help, we were given options that just added to our responsibilities. It feels like we're trapped, and every attempt to resolve this has only made things worse. Were just looking for a way out to get the closure and relief we desperately need.HV Global Group, Inc.

Im truly sorry to hear about your disappointing experience with your timeshare. Its understandable how the lack of flexibility and the added responsibilities can turn what was meant to be a dream investment into a source of stress and frustration. To help secure your preferred vacation dates, we recommend making reservations 12 to 13 months in advance, depending on your owner benefit level. This approach generally provides the best chance to align with your schedule. Regarding your concerns about exiting your ownership, please know that exit options are dependent on business needs and, as outlined in the owner purchase documents, there is no guarantee of exit options. Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we hope to turn this situation around for you.Review fromWhitney J

1 starI must share my disappointing experience with the Hyatt ************* and hopefully help other families from falling victim to this predatory company. My husband serves in the military, and we signed up for the vacation plan with high hopes. However, the unlimited availability has made it impossible for us to utilize the plan due to my husband's unpredictable schedule. When we explained our problem to them we were met with resistance and no attempt to resolve our issue. Our initial interaction with their sales team was all in support of military families and we feel that our military background was exploited during the sales pitch. In hindsight, we know it was a manipulative tactic rather than genuine **********'s disheartening that a company like Hyatt would take advantage of young military families. We are disappointed by their lack of support and understanding of the unique challenges we face. I want to caution other military families to be wary of Hyatt *************. Our experience suggests that their priorities lie in profit rather than genuinely supporting those who ******** conclusion, Hyatt could significantly improve by being honest and transparent with their customers, particularly those from military backgrounds. Our sacrifices should be respected, not used as leverage in a sales pitch. They should not make it sound as though vacations are available anytime when they certainly are not.HV Global Group, Inc.

1 star8 months have passed since we originally started trying to give back our timeshare. We either get no response at all or a representative who doesn't care and does not try to help us. We were pressured into this decision and were lied to about what we were buying. The salesman painted a picture far better than the reality of owning a timeshare.HV Global Group, Inc.

1 starBought a membership in 2024. Many many months later and still no bonus points and incredibly poor customer service with only "we are sorry and we will fix it...". Never gets fixed. Months go by without contact or updates on fixing their failure. The website for booking ***** IMO and most of the places are booked to infinity despite the sales pitch showing availability everywhere. I guess the sales people have a different system? Not a fan so far mostly because despite trying to book a place, I really have not been able to and they won't give me my sign up bonus points. Their pitch is way better than their promises and execution in my opinion. Good luck if you get sucked in.HV Global Group, Inc.
