Amazing what social media will accomplish. I'm just beginning. After posting my earlier post, Alex from A&A gives me a call. Right off the bat, like it was well rehearsed he blames it on an electrical fire. When I turned the jeep over to them it had no known electrical issues. What it did have was an engine with 179,000 miles on it and a spun bearing. I trusted the jeep with A&A to replace the engine with one with around 70k miles. This was my daughter's jeep that she has had for a long time. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and just had a double masectomy, along with the chemo and now radiation treatments. She was in no condition to get the jeep fixed so I took it on for her. She loved the jeep. It is unfortunate that A&A will not stand behind there work and reimburse for the engine and expenses at least. I have videos that show right after I exited the vehicle that there was fuel pumping (by pressure in the tank, i presume) all over the engine bay especially the passenger side where the fuel line is routed and connects to the top of the intake manifold area. When I first detected the problem there was engine missing, smoke (not electrical) and fire shooting from the front of the engine bay. When I got out, it was burning intensely. I would assume if it was an electrical fire it may have taken a just little longer to get to that level of fire. It was a fuel fire my friends and they don't want to own up to it. Thank God I was driving it and not my daughter. She might not have been so lucky. Well, I guess it is time to let the lawyers make there money. I gave them an honest chance to settle this and call it the day. Alex, based on your comments, you are working in the wrong field. That is, unless, scamming people is your line of business. I hope social media will make you change your ways.

starting out, i was trusting due to the good reviews off ****. i got the engine, as it was installed i got a call from my mechanic saying that the engine i bought was worse off than my original. i called alex and his response was that he had a very low return rate and that i just happened to be a part of the 1.7% but he couldn’t help me. he offered to send another engine and when i asked how i could be sure it wouldn’t be faulty again, he claimed he ran tests but that a blown head gasket (which was why the first engine he sent was faulty) would not be noticeable in his testing because it had to be in a car, yet he told me in the next sentence that he did pull it out of a car. he was very rude and compared it to buying a washer and dryer, saying that the seller would do nothing for you in that scenario. i sent the engine back and almost immediately i received an email saying that all the parts were not there (intake and fuel rails) but the image he sent me showed they had unwrapped the engine and taken the parts off. when i called he said he would only send me my money if i could get picture proof. luckily, the company we used to ship sent us the pictures asap. when we sent alex the images he said “that’s not how it came.” he asked for me to call in a few days, and when i did he said he found the intake in the back of the truck (that belonged to a company in NC) 2 weeks later, which i found a bit suspicious. he then replied “if it was bolted down it wouldn’t have flown off” which it was bolted down, and even if it wasn’t, the way it was strapped down it couldn’t have flown off. he then told me i had to take parts off my original engine and send them to him before he would give me a refund because he needed to “make his engine whole” which lead me to believe he was planning to resale this faulty engine. after i went on **** i saw the same image of the engine he sent me on 2 separate listings claiming to be 2 separate motors, which confirmed my suspicions.
