    Advertising Review:
    In April 2014, BBB contacted the business in regards to the terms and conditions for a price matching or bettering policy not being clearly and conspicuously disclosed on the business's website. Specifically, BBB requested that the terms and conditions be linked to or presented in some manner on the website.

    BBB Code of Advertising indicates the following in regards to price matching or bettering policies: "Advertisements which set out company policy of matching or bettering competitors' prices may be used, provided the terms of the offer are specific and in good faith and provided the terms of the offer are not unrealistic or unreasonable. Advertisers should be aware that such claims can create an implicit obligation to adjust prices generally for specific merchandise upon a showing that the advertiser's price for that merchandise is not as low as or lower than a competitor's, in order to preserve the accuracy of the advertised claims. An advertisement which expresses a policy of matching or bettering competitors' prices should conspicuously and fully disclose any material and significant conditions which apply and specify what evidence a consumer must present to take advantage of the offer. Such evidence should not place an unrealistic or unreasonable burden on the consumer."

    In response the business provided the following statement: "The following language is included in (Reservations Network Group's) contract, which all of its customers both sign and initial next to the applicable provision of the contract:

    "Price Match Guarantee. The Licensor shall provide a Price Match Guarantee to the Licensee if the Licensee finds lower prices on Equal Travel Arrangements through a competing vendor. If lower prices can be proved in writing on Equal Travel Arrangements, the Licensor shall not only match the lower price, but will refund 10% of the price difference between the price offered by a competing vendor and the Licensor in the form of Rewards Credits to be applied to a future vacation by the Licensee. Equal Travel Arrangements shall be defined as the exact same arrival and departure dates, the exact same property, the exact same room or cabin classification, the exact same cruise line, and the exact same itinerary. This Price Match Guarantee does not apply to consolidator fares, fares that have been acquired through auction or bid, or any internet fares for which the Licensor cannot independently verify the price and exact itinerary. A complete physical copy of the competing offer must be received by the Licensor before 4:00pm (EST) within 24 hours of receiving your quote from a competing vendor in order to qualify for the Price Match Guarantee. The Price Match Guarantee can only be exercised through a Personal Live Travel Concierge Agent during the hours of 9am through 9pm Monday through Friday, and 10am through 6pm Saturday EST. In order to exercise the Price Match Guarantee, the Licensee must book the Equal Travel Arrangement with the Licensor at the time of exercising the Price Match Guarantee."

    Clearly this contract provision allows (Reservations Network Group) to guarantee the best price since any comparable price will not only be matched, but a 10% difference will be refunded to the customer on a future vacation."

    However, to date the business has not linked to or displayed the price bettering policy on the requested page found at www.rngrewards.com/about.

      I bought this vacation package over the phone. I paid $ 1,170.00 on 05/22/2020. They called me and I bought the extension for $396.00 which my vac pkg didn't expire until 2/4/23. Said it was transferable so I called and did as they told me, send email saying I wanted to transfer with my res # and to whom and their email, phone number and address. I did that on 2/23/22 and again on 4/29/22. I called them on 6/10 because I still haven't heard anything and they wanted me to send it again. Said the manager I had sent it to on 4/29, that her email had been compromised about 2 weeks ago. The manager is Charlotte and her # is *************** I left her a message and haven't heard back from her. I have copies of the emails I sent them and I have been noting when I call and what they say. I called them 2/1/22,4/5/22,4/11/22,4/29/22, called Charlotte back on 5/23/22 and she didn't see any reason why they hadn't transferred and was suppose to get back with me. So I called again on 6/10/22. The lady that answered the phone said she didn't see why I am calling so much! She put me on hold and no one got back to me so I finally hung up and decided to turn this over to you. I would like my money back because I do not trust this company after all they have said to me and done nothing!
