      on January 21 my car was towed from the parking lot attached to dennys. My car was towed and it is awd. the driver told me he used a dolly. I believe it was improperly towed because my car makes a whining noise decelerating. this sounds like the differential. I will be having it checked out and I have asked the owner for his insurance info and have been blown off multiple times. I will be taking it to claims court if I dont have the info.

      Also, I did call your shop on the way home from picking up my car and you cannot diagnose a mechanical issue driving out of a parking lot within 2 minutes of getting in the vehicle.

      They towed my car from my hotel parking lot saying I had expired tags. We do not receive new tags in *******. I showed them the renewal paper that was in my glove box. I showed them my ownership and government website explain Ontarians do not get new stickers. They didn't care and still charged us 163$ cash to release our vehicle. Told us if we paid credit 4% more. They are crooks.

      I am rejecting this response because:  I am from ******* and our car was registered correctly.  They unlawfully seized my vehicle in the middle of the night.  They said I have expired tags.  Anyone lawful would have known that in ******* we do not have tags anymore we carry paper tag registrations in our glove box.  They charged us 163 USD to have it returned to us.  I was away from home with small children on a Christmas vacation.  They ruined our Christmas and then threatened us by saying they could tow us again if we spent another night.   They made us show proof of registration in the end before leaving the lot anyway which is ludicrous.   Had it not been the holidays I would have called them embassy.  They are robbing Ontarians.  ******* thrives on tourism.  This is disrespectful.  What they did is against the law.  I have communicated with the Atourney General in ******* and am awaiting further response I want to be refunded for the tow this is unacceptable and they think ignoring my complaint makes it OK.  I want to be refunded the monies they took unlawfully.  I do not want to seek legal action but I will if necessary.

We were at the Surestay best western.  We are ******** and from *******.  Said our tags were expired we do not have tags in *******.  And we produced our registration and they still charged us illegally.

      Good afternoon, per Sure Stay rules they don't allowed vehicle with expired tag and if you have the problem that in Onitiri they are not using sticker for the tag you supposed to speak with the hotel since we have a contract with them and like we say they dont allowed vehicles with expired tag not matter if your vehicle is from ****** or another state.

      I am rejecting this response because: ********* said it was the towing company same as you first indicated.  I will get a Lawyer if I need too.  The attorney **************** provided me with several contacts.  The better business bureau closed the hotel complaint it is on the towing company to return outlet 163$ usd which I expect from this process.  If not I will see further damages resulting in more compensation.  Please advise if you will return our funds or if I must take further action.  You illegally towed my vehicle and ruined my vacation for a Christmas I am not about to let this go.

      My husband and I stayed at surestay in *******,**************** *******. We arrived Nov 27 2023 and checked out Nov 28 2023, we are from ******* ****** and was there visiting ************. When we went to leave on 28 November, our car had been stolen, after hours of phone calls, and talking to people we found out that brignoni towing had towed our vehicle. They told us the sticker was outdated, we showed them the proof that ******* cars no longer need a sticker and they didnt care and charged us ****** and would not give us a receipt and demanded cash. They also would not give us the car until we provided Physical proof of the registration, but we had photos and they would not except that. This incurred an additional $200 to rent a car drive to ******** where our registration was and bring it back. these are the biggest crooks on the planet. They are illegally towing cars yet the orange county police department, which we had phoned three times to address this, would not have anything to do with it. We see many complaints about this company through the Better Business Bureau but nothing ever gets done. What is the purpose of a Better Business Bureau if they arent settling these fraudulent business practices.

      We showed your staff on site that day the two documents we have attached.  This is undeniable proof that our vehicle plates were not expired.  They kept arguing with us that the plates were expired.  We tried to explain to them the law in ******* ******, however they felt they knew better than us.  They have no knowledge whatsoever of the current laws in the ******************* regarding plate renewal and they refused to listen to us when we showed them that proof.  The young girl there said she looked on the internet and found some information the plates were expired but she didn't know what she was talking about.  With the amount of travellers coming from ******* ******, your staff should be trained and knowledgeable about vehicle requirements.  This could have been so easily settled that day if we had been allowed to take the vehicle after proving the plates were not expired, at no charge.  Your staff was not only unreasonable and rude, they were unknowledgeable and ignorant of ******* law.  How can you tow a vehicle and claim plates are expired when they are not? This entire incident then escalated when they would not allow us to take the vehicle after paying your outrageous fee (for basically stealing our vehicle) when I could not produce a hard copy of my drivers licence.  I had a photo on my phone but they would not accept it.  However, they seemed to believe and accept the wrong information they received on their phones regarding plate renewals.  The whole incident could have been handled differently, particularly when we were able to offer proof regarding our licence plates.  Your company is a shoddy operation, stealing vehicles for no reason other than to rip people off and force them to pay your ridiculous fees to recover their vehicles.  You were absolutely in the wrong to intentionally steal our vehicle  when you had no right and no understanding whatsoever of the laws regarding licence plate renewal in *******. We intend to continue to publicize this situation through social media, the ********************* ***************, **************** and other options available to us.

      I am rejecting this response because:  You did not address any of the issues I raised in my last response.  The car was parked legally, we were guests of the hotel and ********** WERE NOT expired.  This all could have been easily solved on Nov 28th if you had released the vehicle to us without charge.  Your employees chose not to do that because they are obviously experts when it comes to vehicle permit law in ******* ******. We paid $163.00 for you to steal our car and the other costs associated with this incident totalled around $200.00.

      A taxi to your site to retrieve our stolen car $50.00,

      Uber to rental car office  $29.00

      Rental car to return to our home in ******** because your staff would not accept my photo ID (driver licence) $97.00

      Gas to fill rental car $20.00

      Why did you close this file?  The owner has NOT made any attempt to resolve this issue.  I responded yesterday to his latest communication and today I see you have closed the file.  Why is this?  I have not received any satisfactory results and Brignoni Towing is not taking responsibility for their actions in towing our car for no reason at all.

      I was at a tourist attraction and the parking lot security told me I could park in this space and when I came back my car was towed. I physically seen him do this to over 6 vehicles within a 20 minute period. This is ILLEGAL first of all!! Why would you tow my car and thats where you told me to park. This is a SCAM that is not acceptable

      On June 12, 2023 I was completing an overnight repair at a restaurant that clearly had all the lights on. This company towed my car with no reason and when I called to pick up my car they were rude, unprofessional and non cooperative.

      My car was towed on 2/12/23. My family and I were in a black Chrysler Pacifica minivan that we rented from ****** Rental Cars. My husband and brother wanted to go to ******* *** ******* located at **** ** **** ******* ******** *** so we parked in a space that had a sign saying “******* *** ******* parking only.” We parked there because my husband and brother went inside that establishment to shop there and look at guns. I noticed there was an arcade next door so I took my kids and sister in law into the arcade instead of the gun store. My husband and brother joined the rest of our family in the arcade when they left the gun store. They did not purchase anything at ******* *** *******, but they did shop around. When we left the arcade, we noticed the car had been towed. We called the towing company and asked why we had been towed and they said they saw us go into the arcade and not the gun store. I believe they had spotters and were practicing predatory towing because they said they saw us, but in fact they only saw half of the vehicles passengers since we went to two different locations. When I told them people in the car did go into the gun store, they asked if we bought anything to which the answer was no. Brignoni towing said we were not customers since my husband and brother did not purchase anything, so they had the right to tow us. Furthermore, the car towed was a rental vehicle, and when I arrived they would not release the car to me even though I had proof that I rented it. They said I would have to provide a waiver from the rental company releasing them from any liability or damages to the car. They also said they would only accept cash payment. After getting my rental company involved, I got the car back the morning of 2/13/23, but I was not provided with a receipt of the transaction. The request for a release from liability waiver and not supplying me with a receipt goes against FL statue 715.07(2)(a)9, which can be a felony of the third degree

      First of all every vehicle that we tow from *** is request by the manager on duty that date and second we don't have any  spotters every vehicle we tow like i say have to be request by the manager we are not allowed to touch any vehicle from there parking without there authorization.

      Every rental company need to sent the Hold Harmless Letter since you are not the owner of the vehicle they are. 

      If you request the receipt without any problem we are going to give it to you so if you forget to request the receipt that's not on us and if you still need the receipt you can come to our yard and we are goint to give it to you.

      I am rejecting this response because: That same night there were several other people who were towed illegally and unethically by your establishment so I do believe you are practicing predatory towing and have spotters.  Clearly you are not going to admit to that so your response is not accepted by me. It is your responsibility to have provided me with a receipt when I paid, whether I requested one or not according to the Florida statue.  I will be happy to provide you with that statute if you do not already have it in writing somewhere, and even though it is not my responsibility to ask, I did in fact email you after the payment was made to request a receipt and I still have not received one.  Interesting you can respond to this complaint with the BBB the same day but cannot reply to an email requesting receipt that was sent 2 days ago. Since you only accept cash payments, you would think your company would be very diligent with providing receipts as not to be flagged by the IRS.  In addition, I will be filing a complaint against *** too since were inside *** and should not have been towed!!  I would also like to add a complaint against the unsafe business practices at Brignoni towing for people to retrieve their personal belongings from their vehicle. When I asked to retrieve my personal belongings from the car, Brignoni towing would only allow me to go in and would not allow my brother to escort me even though there was a mob of people at the gate.  After I went in they locked the gate behind me.  It was a very volatile situation because the employees of Brignoni Towing and the several other people who had their cars towed were yelling and screaming at each other through the gate.  I don’t think it is a safe practice for them to expect women to be locked inside their establishment alone to get their personal belongings.  For these reasons and more, we called the police.  When they arrived, the police agreed that they should not have towed my car and I filed a report with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department..  The report number **********

      December 17 2022 my vehicle was towed from dennys/super 8. I do a knowledge that it was a tow zone but I caught them towing my vehicle, ** statute says if confronting tow service they have to offer a drop fee, that was not offered and the truck driver acted like he didn't speak English after he clearly talked to us in English and ignored **, also ******* law impound must be located within 10 miles was over 10 miles of away

      Price gouging on 10/30/22. The company originally quoted me $175 for a tow. No documentation was sent it was a verbal agreement. They then said the rep said $875 and threatened to charge me $1500. I asked if there were any recordings of the conversation, and there was no response. They wouldn't even give me the drivers' info to file a report. It seems they intentionally put people in bad situations with no paper trail because they know it will be treated as civil law and people need their cars.

      Our truck was towed from a shared parking lot. While eating they snatched our truck (from a parking lot that does not advertise which side of the parking lot belongs to which company) leaving us stranded over an hour from home. ****** the restaurant we were eating at knew right away and called demanding it was an incorrect tow. The tow company said the ******* motel (which is who ****** shares a lot with) is the company that had it towed and that ******* would have to call them. We managed to get the ******* manager to get the owner on the phone the owner of ******* then conference called the tow company and said it was a mistake. Shocker tow company said oh well basically. We get family to come take us to the truck they refuse to give it to us because we don't have the updated registration on us (yet I have all the proof on my phone) not good enough. So then in order to make their buddies more money we are told oh well you can pay my buddy $175 to tow it out of our gate then you can go home. TO LITERALLY GRAB IT AND TOW IT 50 FEET OUT OF THEIR GATE! ABSOLUTELY THE BIGGEST SCAM IVE EVER SEEN!

      My car was towed from a lot to a location more than 10 miles (22, in fact) from the lot where it was retrieved. When I called the tow company to retrieve my car, I was not told that I would have to pay in cash. I was in fact, per the code, allowed to pay by credit card. I was charged $135 instead of the legal $125 fee. I was told I would need to show my driver's license. In fact, I also needed my registration.

      I called the police because I was told by you that you would not speak to me. The police suggested I file a claim against you in small claims court. Be on the lookout for that. You did not itemize your bill to clarify charges and you insisted I pay in cash when you are required by the ordinance to allow me to pay by credit card as well.

      You had a single suburban woman with children at home on a lot off OBT in the middle of the night insisting that you did not accept credit cards. Having an ATM on site is not the same as accepting credit cards, which you are required to accept per code. In my case, I didn't have my debit card on me to utilize an ATM so providing an ATM is a moot point.

      The rules of your business require you to itemize your receipt and you did not. The City of Orlando fee is an add-on to your tow fee and it was not itemized. So, to my knowledge, since you didn't write it clearly on the receipt, I was overcharged for my tow. Regardless, this was yet another item in your business practice that it not up to code.
