    My family and I made our initial purchase with RCI in 2022. We have never been able to use any of the services promised as the platform is complicated. Calling their customer service to get assistance is a bit of a joke. While the operators are willing to book for you that is it, they will book for you, you are unable to view and compare options, facilities etc. it is basically first come first serve. Think Expedia with a membership and a hotline. Our family purchased this after the death of our child when we were already planning a trip for our other children to try to just... something after so much loss. It seemed like a good deal. The trip we were planning to take was promised to us with a voucher, which we didn't get to use due to illness, not their fault, however, everything after that.... ha! Needless to say, it was all for naught as we paid for the trip we took them on and every trip for the last two years and the monthly fee without using this membership as we could never figure it out how to use it. Yes, we called and asked for help. When we signed up we were told they would teach us how to use it. In our experience this has not been true at all. No one is willing to teach us how to actually use this. Every time we planned to travel nowhere we wanted to go was ever available, even attempting to plan a year in advance didn't make a difference. The cherry on top was when we complained, because our membership was cancelled. So, 10k for absolutely nothing...

    Cuando me ensearon el programa fueron fotografa de hermosas de los sitio que ofrecas para vacaciones* nunca pude hacer ninguna recepcin porque siempre me deca que no haba **** disponible* me dieron una tarjeta de ****** para pagar el programa de ellos * la credit card es de Barcleys Back * empec a pagar pero el banco me aumenta el pago * mande un email a RCI dicindoles que me haban mentido cuando me dieron la charla * porque no poda coger hotel * consegu uno para *********** y no fue muy agradable lo que encontr cuando llegamos y lo reporte a ellos * ahorra el bank me a demand y ms ****** se me dao por eso ahorra debo ******

    When I bought my timeshare I was told I could switch and go anywhere all over the world. I was also told that I would have discounts to hotels all over The world I called r c I to book my vacation the end of july for november 3 nights 4 days in San Juan Puerto Rico I was told by the representative. They were booked for that week so I said. Okay, what about next year, August of August of 2020 fourin Barcelona spai was told they don't have anything in barcelona, Spain. I'm very confused and upset as to how I'm paying $10000 for a time share. That I was told I could use all over the world and switch going through RCI and now when I'm trying to redeem my timeshare, it's not possible even trying to go through them to book a hotel. In San Juan Puerto Rico I was told it would be over a $1000 for a 4 night stay when when I book do hotels.com my hotel stay was only $500 I feel like I've been lied to and duped. I would like my money for full refund for my deposit and to get out of this contract with RCI and vacations village resort. I'm asking the BBB to step in on my behalf.
