    On 01/04/2024 ***************************** from RCS contacted me via telephone with an offer to sell my timeshare. I was convinced that I would be helped through the process. I was given a personal phone number along with a bunch of empty promises. I was told that the property would be sold in ***** days, well it now 04/11/2024 and I have only been contacted twice by ******************** and once by a customer service rep only to tell me that the property is being show cased and to reduce the selling prices. As of today no offers have been made on the property and I just received a phone call from ********* and she too mentioned the same thing. I was told that RCS would help get me a refund from a different timeshare exit company that was a lie. I submitted all the necessary paperwork to the recovery department never heard anything regarding that issue. There's a lack of communication and services with RCS. I went on the website just see if the property was listed and it wasn't, so I'm not sure if the property is really being marketed or not. I was told that RCS was accredited with the BBB and it's not. I'm asking for a refund in the amount of $1998, due to lack of communication, misrepresentation by RCS for marketing.

    RESORT CANCELLATIONS IS A SCAM!! In January 2023 we engaged with Resort Cancellations to sell our timeshare. Of course we had to upfront the $3600.00 right away (and they were very pushy about it) but we felt this business was ligit as the had sold themselves to us under the accreditation of the BBB and they guaranteed us 100% they'd sell and if they could not sell within the first 90days we could get a refund (100% guaranteed satisfaction), they called it. They talked us into reducing the price we were asking so they'd have better chances (obviously it was just to keep stalling) after multiple attempts of us trying to have someone communicate with us, since no one from Resort Cancellations will communicate progress! Even within the first 90days! They take your money and run! Sad that when you call you can't even speak to someone, you gotta leave a message and hope someone with the next month or so calls. After you've had to call 100 more times. Fast forward to now (Feb 2024) we ended up dealing on our timeshare due to our own hard work. Called them up to say I wanted a refund since they couldn't do their promised job and was told sorry, refunds are only within the first 10 days! You can't even get marketing done within the first 10days! Not what they said they'd do or what we discussed. I asked if they had the recordings from our initial agreement exposing all the "promises" and that if we weren't 100% satisfied we could request a refund! LIARS!! THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!! 100% SCAM!! Representative just kept saying it was in the "agreement". Well what the agreement says and what the representative sell you are 2 completely different! ************** I want my money back since they did nothing but steal from us!

    On February 26, 2023, my husband and I entered into a contract with Resort Cancellation Services (RCS), paying them $2,395.00. Following is a direct quote taken from our contract: "The purpose of the contract is to provide the marketing and advertising of the Owner's interest/ownership at Club Wyndham Access (property). which the owner wishes to sell/rent". Marketing and Advertisement services were NOT delivered - there was ZERO communication from RCS throughout 10 months duration of the contract. We were never shown ANY marketing material for our property - which we specifically requested on our phone call with RCS yesterday - or at any time. ZERO offers were made on our property and when I spoke with RCS yesterday, I was told some nonsense like: "Oh, I see we have a note right here to lower your asking price." Yeah, right, NO one ever COMMUNICATED ANY INFORMATION to me about my property - for ANY reason. Once my credit card payment was made, RCS did NOTHING to sell/rent our property. Ironically, I returned a phone call to RCS yesterday after they left me a vm - AND on this call RCS proceeds to pitch me on selling/renting my property, REALLY? I'm already contracted with RCS to sell/rent my property!! I tell the sales woman this, she puts me on hold for some time and another woman, named *********, comes on the phone saying she is the supervisor & starts apologizing for the communication mix up -blah blah blah. Clearly, this company is not reputable at best and a scam at worst. When I requested a full refund, again, obfuscation answers like: "we are still under contract with them" - once the contract ends, which is on Feb. 26, **** - we dont need to renew, but we are not *********** any refund. RCS consistently refused to provide us with the services we contracted for and consistently refused to offer us a refund. All we got from RCS was blah, blah, blah. OH- their attorney is supposedly calling us within 48hours - whatever.

    This company is an absolute scam. They sold us the program based on validation through the Better Business Bureau. RCS has not delivered on any of the promises outlined in the terms of our contract and are clearly swindling consumers and taking advantage. There is no satisfaction when we request marketing materials that they assured us were being distributed at events and online. Additionally, we caught them lying to us about marketing our property at an event for which they are not listed as a vendor.

    I am rejecting this response because: we have been on the phone with the organization prior to and subsequent to 1/24/24 and have not been provided with any quantifiable or verifiable marketing efforts. We've been advised that it would be shared at events - we've verified that the organization did not attend the event they indicated. We've been advised that our property is featured in digital and social media marketing - we've not been provided with ************, deliverables or analytics surrounding these efforts which should be readily available.  We've been advised that our property is featured on their website - they have acknowledged that the only way to see the listing is if they send us a custom url link that is NOT published on their website.

    We want this to work but are feeling very much like everything that we were promised in the contract cannot be verified.

    On 11-20-2023 we entered into a contract with RCS to cancel our timeshares (2), paid them $5,998.00.. Then we changed our mind on 11-26-2023 we cancelled our contract. As stated in the agreement we can cancel for any reason, within 10 days, and notify them in writing by either email or by letter. Both steps were taken, Cancellation email sent on 11-26-2023, and Certified letter on 11-27-2023. We have not been reimbursed for the funds sent and have now incurred $115.00 in interest. I want a refund for the money we spent according to the signed contract and if legal action is necessary, then we will collect in addition and not limited to, legal fees and interest.

    I was contacted by RCS only after repeated attempts on my behalf to contact them by phone and responding to an email from RCS  in Nov.2023. All of this was in addition to my filing with the BBB. I have been told that a Refund has been sent ( mailed to my address ) and could take **** days, and I will be accessed additional interest on the money I sent to RCS. I also believe that my complaint to the BBB prompted their response. Had RCS responded in a timely manner I could have avoided these interest payments. I would also like to state that I was told that by one  of the Reps. for RCS that they didnt know why my Refund hadnt already been sent.

    Once the refund has been received and accepted by the bank, I will again make a response to the BBB ending this matter, but not total Satisfaction on my behalf because of the $115.00 of interest I have incurred an a 2nd interest payment shortly to be incurred in this matter.

    Today is the 11th of January and I have not received the stated refund from RCS that they indicated on Jan.2, **** was being paid by their company in a phone conversation with me and that they responded to in my complaint with the BBB. It appears to me that the BBB would like to resolve this issue and take RCS at their word that the refund has been sent but no proof of that Refund is evident to date. This matter is not closed !1

    The Refund I was waiting for has been received and processed with the bank. The BBB and RCS may consider the case closed, but my wife and I have encountered interest payments on the money we sent to RCS of over $300.00 all of which could have been avoided. We will not be recommending RCS as a company to be doing business with in the future. This matter is now closed, but I am not totally happy with the end results. A ****** has been learned.

    RCS promised to sell my time share within 3 -8months and it has been a little over a year . I paid about ******* And all I got was a written advertisement that did nothing. They said they would call and give me updates but I had to call them several times. They sent me a vacation which I clearly stated I did not want . They said they would rent the timeshare which I clearly stated I did not want. I have been waiting patiently but Im beginning to believe this is a scam and would like a refund. I reached out many times , sometimes No one answered phone

    This is my second complaint about Rcs which I received a half refund after waiting a year and now its going into the second year and theres been a lack of communication with them . I have had to call several times for updates which are none. They continue to lie and Im convinced this a scam to get your money to keep the scam going. They stated when I joined up that the time share would be sold 3-8 months. They lied and Im sure they record their conversation. If anyone is looking to sale there timeshare this is not the place . I called and asked for the rest of my refund but they refused and added that marketing had to be payed for. Its a lie and a scam so be careful folks out there.. A friend of mine went through the same thing and got a full refund after waiting for a resale for 2years. . The problem with me is Im a senior citizen and live on a fixed income and with medical bills and conditions and want to sell before I meet my maker. So if youre a senior citizen dont waste the time and energy with RCS the scam company. I want the rest of my payment because maintenance fees are coming up again and no sale for the second year

    My wife and I received a phone call from this company randomly telling us that they could sell or rent out our timeshare property. We told them we weren't interested in selling, but as we weren't traveling this year would like to rent it out. My wife had reservations as she's been scammed by a similar company before. I decided to give them a chance and reluctantly paid $1998 to them to rent out my timeshare on June 2, 2023.It's been 6 months and we've had ZERO communication from this company since they took my money aside from the few times that my wife has called them to inquire about our account. She always gets the oh it's being advertised or we'll put you on the priority list blah blah blah. I want my money back. I tried to do it through my credit card company, but as they have a time lapse of 60 days I was unsuccessful. This is just yet another company taking people's money to do nothing. Please have a conscience and refund my money!!!

    resortcs called and salesman said they could rent and sale my Westgate and **** would call me and I had reservations bout this transaction the salesman said I could call back and cancel anytime so three days later i called back they transfer me to another person and i told them I wanted to cancel and they hung up on me I haven't had any emails from them they also said i had 4 weeks left on my Westgate and they can rent it out but i called Westgate i had only 1 week i believe this is a scam company since their not credited my money back like they said they would i haven't heard anything I would like my money back like they said they would transaction date on my card Oct 16 23

    I am rejecting this response because:  Resortcs has a 100 percent money back guarantee I would like my money back I'm not satisfied with the service I haven't heard from them or any emails from them I cancel this 3 days after I took it and they hung the phone up on me I am dissatisfied with this service they lied to me bout the weeks and my money back and the cancellation process didn't send me the contract on a timely matter so I could read it and response in time I need my money credited to my card immediately

    We paid Resort Cancellation Services $ ******** to market our *************** 2 week time share on September 5, 2023. Signed Document number ********. We are not able to use our weeks any longer and had explored the sale option. *****************, *********************, gave us his extension and said we could reach him any time x1011. We accepted this company to represent our ownership sale because he promised with the value, it would sell quickly and that he was a personal representative on our account. Their phone number does not allow any extensions to be used, a complete misrepresentation. Their customer service line is always answered only with a VM option for any representative. No one, including ****, has called us for any activity on our timeshare. The contract materials also said the property would be listed on the (their) Website, which it is not. There are no ******* properties showing on their RCS "for sale" site. The "Website" listed in the contract document multiple times. We have no way of knowing of any other marketing vehicles they use bc our "representative" is not reachable. They also state in their materials a BBB rating which is false, I see now.We are requesting a refund in full for our $2,198, due to misrepresentation by RCS for customer support and marketing. We want to be released from their contract. We will be submitting this request in writing to RCS as well, by e-mail and by regular mail. Thank- you very much. ******** and *******************

I have been watching for the response in my e-mails since I sent it to you. I did speak to the sale manager after BBB contacted him. I want to me sure that his response was the same as his verbal service promises to us.

    They called me about selling my timeshare or renting it out. They claim they are having all these shows and make all my prices for rental and sale negotiable. They claimed it would be sold within 3 to 6 months it is over a year. They should refund my 1498.00 for not fulfilling what they say they are going to do. I own this timeshare free and clear. Every time I call I get you haven't gotten any offers or they were low. Not once have contacted me with any offers even the low offers. They claim any offer made I would be contacted, that doesn't happen.

    They gave me a partial refund and said we will keep you informed about selling or renting your time share. I have not heard anything from them. I want to have the rest of my money refunded they have not done anything since the last zbBB complaint.
