I contracted a graduation banquets dinner at Buca di Beppo - *************************** *********************************************** for May 2nd 2025 from 6-8PM. During the process of establishing the contract I was advised we would have a semi-private room that would allow for a multiple tables including a table for gifts and space for large balloon decoration for photo opportunities. Along with the assigned space, I was told that a semi private space would afford for an intimate and private experience that we could celebrate and share stories together about the graduates (twins), especially since they didnt get to have a high school graduation experience due to COViD. Throughout the lead up to the dinner, I was assured that we would have the expected set up. At the time of the dinner, we were seated at 1 long table immediately next to another dinner party and there was 2 additional dinner parties in the same room with a total of 6 tables and booths. We were not provided the additional space for gifts, no space for balloon pictures and it was definitely not semi-private. Throughout the dinner, the group immediately next to us (less than two feet away) were extremely loud, yelling and laughing and bumping into our chairs from behind. I communicated immediately upon being seated that this was not what we contracted and sent several communications to the sales *** (which went unanswered for over a week). The server had the store shift manager come to talk with me and he advised this is what was available and that there was nothing they could do. Being mindful of the time and travel that our family made to be at the graduation dinner, I had no choice but to continue with the meal. At the end of the dinner we requested the remaining food to be packed to go and was told they do not allow this and the servers leaned over and said to my wife that is how the get you with reservation banquet meals. After spending $985 on dinner, I was shocked and disgusted with the experience.Initial Complaint

I received a $50 gift card for Christmas . Since then the numbers on the card have faded, as it is made of out of cardboard. I tried using it and the because it could not be read the manager said there was nothing they could do and i loose out on the $50. We dined at the location in ***********, ******* and had a terrible experience. We waited for nearly an hour for our food to be prepared, and because we werent even given house bread at the time, we came to a point to have them switch our order to go rather than to dine there given the terrible experience. In addition, the food quality was not good at all. Ive been to the Bucca Di Beppo in *******, where I reside, and this was nothing like it. So much so that myself and a family member are currently feeling sick, with a lot of stomach issues. Given the circumstances, we would appreciate a full refund.Initial Complaint

I received $50 Buca di Beppo physical gift card. So I decided to order a large spicy chicken rigatoni and attempted to pay with my gift card. When I removed the security strip for the PIN, the code smeared. I called the restaurant and they said they couldn't help me. I received two(2) $25.00 gift cards for Fathers day 2024. They are for Bucca di Beppo resturaunt. The week I received my cards, Bucca Di Beppo filed bankruptsy, and my local resturaunt closed suddenly. There is no Bucca Di Beppo with a 100 plus mile radius from my home. We tried emailng corporate for a refund but have not heard from anyone. I'm 71 years old and do not travel far from my home area.Customer Answer

I made an online order for the Buca di Beppo location in *********** on September 29 2024. When I arrived to the location to pickup my order they were closed due to maintenence. I called the next day to receive a refund for my order and was told the refund would be issued. A week went by no refund and I called again and sent email on there website. Two weeks by and I called again and was told they changed *********** and to give it a few more days. Three weeks by and I called and they took my information down and was told some would call me. I called again almost a month later and the manager is too busy to talk.
