We were contacted by ************* (Assef) to give an estimate to remodel a master bath. We gave a written plumbing estimate that included a permit. This job requires a ** and a Building Permit. We were provided a Building Permit number and were able to pull our subcontractor plumbing permit. After we started the job we never met the ** for the job. However it was later determined that ************* was not licensed and was not the ** for the job. We only met and talked with Assef. ************* agreed to our written estimate and signed the written estimate. If the written estimate was too high a cost they did not have to sign and agree to the written estimate. When we began the work we had an Underground Inspection that was required. We attempted to call it in but was unable to get done because the ** did not file the Notice of Commencement. We called Assef and informed him but they were unable to get the *** filed so we did that for them even though it was not part of our contract. They did pay the fee for that. We then called in the Underground Inspection and it did pass inspection. Then there were two slab inspections that are Building Permit inspections (not plumbing) that failed. These two inspections are on the ** not on Harvey Baker Plumbing, Inc. We, Harvey Baker Plumbing***** did hire a different ** only to repair the concrete to pass inspection at no additional cost to *************. This was not part of our contract and ************** was unable to get this work done properly even though it was part of the Building Permit. Once the concrete was done we returned and did the Rough In work. We called in a Rough In Inspection and the first Rough In inspection failed. The reason the first Rough In inspection failed was due to ************* did not raise the shower floor as instructed. This also was not part of Harvey Baker Plumbing, ***** estimate and was part of the Building Permit. ************* raised the floor and we returned and installed the shower liner and called in a Rough In Inspection which passed inspection. We then returned to install the customer supplied fixtures. When we arrived the right side lavatory faucet holes in the granite were drilled improperly. We informed ************* that the faucet was not centered and that the holes were drilled wrong. ************* told us that they were going to get with the granite company to make any reapirs. We returned and met the homeowner and the hole in the granite was still not centered. We informed the homeowner and Assef with ************* that it wasn't centered and there was nothing else we could because the granite hole was not centered. This is a ** issue. We then called in a Final Inspection which passed inspection on February 20, 2025. Friday, May 2, 2025 we received a call from Assef with ************* to schedule for us to reinstall the lavatory faucet. The faucet had been removed by someone else. We informed him that it would be an additional charge since all the work we did was complete and passed a Final Inspection. The reinstallation of the lavatory faucet was not as a result of any work done by Harvey Baker Plumbing, Inc. Harvey Baker Plumbing **** did not fail three inspections only one and that was due to the ************* not raising the shower floor. . Harvey Baker Plumbing, Inc. guarantees all the work we do however, once someone other than Harvey Baker Plumbing, *** makes changes to our work then the guarantee is voided.

The first time I recall using Harvey Baker Plumbing was soon after moving to Florida. I was digging a hole for a poinsettia late in the day on Dec. 31st and hit the home's water line. Being from the Northeast, I was used to water lines being much deeper than 12 inches. Even though it was near quitting time on New Year's Eve, his plumber came out and worked into the dark to repair the break. I've used Harvey several times since then with satisfactory results, and will be using his company for an upcoming bath remodel.
