In April 2025 ***** Veitch cold called me to offer a "FREE" 1/2 page of magazine advertising to "fill up the last 2 pages of his upcoming magazine "Luxury Communities of Scottsdale". He referenced my current ********************* ad, said he called me as my listing was "so unique and fit the profile of his magazine content", said he "simply had to have my listing in his magazine" as it would benefit him to attract more agents to advertise with him. He gave great detail as his talented design team, how my ad would appear & that my ad would run for a full year for FREE. He then emailed links to "past" **************** looked very nice but I made no commitment. He followed up with me to say "I was thinking that your listing could benefit from an expanded ad presence in ALL my magazines and I'm willing to offer you at my COST advertising to fill 2 pages plus ads in the ********** Bike Week and Biketober magazines. ***** went in for the kill, the real intent of his contacting me, to convince me to give him money. He followed up with me multiple times, near daily, trying to upsell me further for MORE money. He shared details of his life, talked about his wife/children, a summer Canada home, touted his real estate friends, ie all high end Realtors. ***** is charming/well spoken, fast on his feet, yet lies through his teeth to steal money via his well polished criminal ad scam. Once his "assistant" ******* picked up a $575 personal check from me at my home (I suspect she is his wife) then emails/phone calls went nil. He had long been sent listing photos/my headshot for a magazine proof (never provided to me). Attached is the detailed ad invoice with ******* name/address,. ***** has MANY past lawsuits, BBB complaints + a warning issued by ******************************** (attached). His last email on 5-21-25, said he was in ****** for a family funeral & would refund me "next week". A lie. He ignores emails/no refund issued. A bad scammer with a pattern, will never stop.Initial Complaint

***** contacted me on November 12, 2024, regarding the promotion of a listing I have in **********, **, in his magazine. He proposed a package of three magazines for $895, with the first issues scheduled for release in the first week of December 2024. On November 14, 2025, ***** Veitch arranged for his assistant, ******** to collect a check from our office on ********** for the total invoice amount of $895. We received our first proof from ***** on November 21, 2025, and everything seemed to be proceeding as planned. In early December, my co-lister, ******* *******, reached out to ***** with concerns about the lack of proofs for the front cover. ***** assured her that they were forthcoming. However, on December 11, ***** emailed both ******* and me to inform us that the *************** would now be released in the first week of January, with the other two magazines expected around January 14 and January 26. On January 22, ******* sent another email to ***** seeking an update on our magazines & included a link from the Better Business Bureau containing several complaints against ***** and his company. ***** responded by assuring us that he was not attempting to defraud us and that the publication would be released on February 14. However, once again on February 14, I reached out to *****, but he was still unable to provide us with the 3magazine publications for which we had paid in Nov 2024. This is not the first instance in which ***** has misled someone into purchasing his publication. The list of complaints on his BBB profile indicates a history of similar issues, including a recent complaint dated Jan 5, 2025, from an individual who experienced the same type of deception. I have not only lost the initial $895 but immeasurable lost of business for the magazine traffic that was supposed to be generated during the Christmas vacation, ******* ******* Auction, & the Waste Mgmt Open readers who were here for those events I was promised by ***** we would capture.Initial Complaint

***** Veitch called 5/30/24 soliciting me for advertising. He offered me ad space in two magazines; Cave Creek and Carefree Event Guide and **************** Event Guide. He initially sold me a full page ad plus a 400 word editorial, 50 copies of each delivered to me, restocked when needed $700, submission deadline 6/11/24, magazines out 6/18/24. 6/3/24 he emailed with an idea. He convinced me to upgrade to a 4 pg editorial followed by a 2 page ad, 6 pages total, $675, includes a 3rd magazine, North Valley Event Guide, submit deadline 6/18 magazines out 6/26-28/24, 50 copies of each delivered to me. 6/4 ***** contacted me again to upgrade. He wanted to use a photo of me displaying my work on the front cover of a supplement called Health Matters printed as an insert that included the 4 pg article, 2 pg ad and is sent with all 7 event guides he published in *******, $795 includes 200 copies to me. 6/12 I submitted the editorial, he tried to up-sell me by saying 1200 words wouldn't fit on 4 pages, I declined sending more money. To date no supplemental insert has been published, no contracted magazine has been published, only a golf lifestyle mag has gone out with 4-5 different covers, same content. It did include the 2 pg ad, but no editorial. When arguing about contracts and delivery, he said he has published 5 of the promised 7 mags, without the insert which was ignored, and that his contracts include a 9 month window for publishing. My 3 contracts attached below. Those 2 statements prove he lied from the start to me, perhaps he does legitimate business else where.He is refusing refund, said his bottle of champagne costs more than the refund I was asking for. While I agree the 2 pg ad went out, I was promised an editorial on 3 different invoices. Promised an insert that would go out to 7 specific neighborhoods. I believe this was intended fraud, that his behavior is predatory. I have every text and email to back this up and want to warn the public about him.Customer Answer

Hello,
The complaint type is listed as repair issues, and that isn't correct. It is potential fraud. I just want to make sure it is listed correctly so that it is viewed by the appropriate agencies that deal with fraud.
I have extensive emails and texts full of lies after lies, this is beyond a simple refund request. I am asking for resolution to include following through with the contract, all 3 of them providing all publications promised (finishing the job is what I checked because no other options were available) or having it passed on to appropriate agencies to investigate for fraud and predatory behavior. Please understand if the company choses to simply refund money after all I have been through it will be in my eyes an admission of intended fraud and I will pursue further action with an enforcement agency.

I have reached out numerous times to the facilitator of the complaint
I willadmit to being late but she has now had five of the eight magazines that were booked and the rest to follow (within the time frame that I stipulate for unforeseen circumstances on my terms and conditions)
she has a personal vendetta for some reason against me and just will not listen to resolve this matter without troubling the BBB
The five magazines that she has had are for different communities across N ********** and as per agreement have been delivered and she has had copies of each magazine
The next magazine is Health ******* where she has a front cover and a four page article
the reason that this has not been delivered is that changes have been long in coming and garbled messages through my designer complaining about me and hence some of the direction for what she actually wants ..The editorial has been tough to follow
But the real reason for the delay is that the claimant agreed to do the front cover of Heath ******* where she had to supply the ***** as part of the deal and sent a sub standard ***** of her performing a procedure in her clinic on a patient
we did the best we could with the low res ***** and told her on numerous occasions that this is not up to standard but a replacement was never sent
Then after everything she started claiming sexual harassment ! Because her ***** for the cover showed her chest area ...AND SHE supplied the ***** as crazy as that is!
If she had sent the correct, detailed on the booking resolution ***** this magazine would also be out this is her doing
it is only a small magazine and She has the most space with a front cover and a four page article which until she sends changes and a replacement front cover we cannot print
so PLEASE send the new ***** and your magazine will be delivered
on a closing note I have been threatened, called a sexual harasser, been subject to foul mouth (I have recording) tirades on the phone and obnoxious texts and I have two witnesses as she copied them both in and they will happily prove this if required in court

Refuses to put the article in the proper order it was written, has no ability to produce a well thought out editorial space that makes sense to the article. I have never worked with a publisher that deliberately leaves out content, puts in irrelevant content and rearranges copy that is provided. It is all a game. I can prove all of it through his own communication with me. Everything he said in his rebuttal was a lie. And since I have called out his lie with the article, nothing has been done to move forward in creating something viable for print. He has ghosted me again. Regarding the front cover he sold me, he took the picture he requested that I have used in print many times and blew it up so big that it showcased my b****** center copy of the cover and it effectively removed the work I do which is the point of the picture, to show my work. For months I was ignored when I asked ***** and his designer to pull the picture size back to the original composition as I was very uncomfortable with the sexual content that the cover appeared to be, I would be professionally ruined displaying only my b****** on a cover of a magazine. His response after I got forceful by including his assistant and designer in the text conversation was that if I didn't want to show my body off why did I provide the picture? After heated argument he promised a refund for the cover, that never came.

I have over 200 pages of me trying to work with him, ask him nicely where are the proofs, when are the promised magazines going to print? He has been lying as you briefly see here since the first week I signed on with him. Look at the invoices I sent in with the original complaint. All deliverables were promised by end of June 2024. Not one of the contracted things was provided, only a completely different magazine, that has been printed exactly the same but with 5 different covers and he claims this is him delivering 5 magazines to me. I was promised by phone call in July that after the golf magazine was published the 7 neighborhood specific magazines would be published 3 of them with my 4pg editorial, all of them with the 2 page ad and the health matters insert inside each of the 7 magazines that would come out after the golf magazine.
All of it is lies.

The same thing happened to me as with the other complaints. Peter contacted me in June, 2023. He wanted me to advertise in three of his luxury magazines. I needed to provide him with photos of myself, a bio and photos of current and sold listings. I provided him all the requirements on time. Deadline for the final proof was due on July 11 for publications in his magazines in August and September. He was very responsive until he received my $600. He said he was going on vacation but will still communicate with me. He didn't. When he returned from vacation I had a couple of responses from him and then he went silent again, claiming he had been sick. I never received the final proof for the magazine after numerous attempts to get an update from him. I discovered these other complains on the BBB in mid August and realized I had made a mistake dealing with this guy. I sent him a copy of the previous complaints and told him I wanted to cancel my contract and wanted a full refund or I would submit a complaint to the BBB myself. He immediately responded and we spoke on the phone. He said he would refund my money and would take a copy of the envelope which was going in the mail the following Monday. That conversation took place Friday, August 18 and to date I have not received any indication he has sent me a refund. Please note he is no longer in Florida. Peter V***** (THE VEITCH GROUP USA INC.) contacted our school with a pitch to sell us ad space and run an editorial about our school in various magazines. Peter then upsold us on larger page space and a longer editorial length. Peter billed us to run our school's ad in various magazines in Fountain Hills and Scottsdale. No ads were ever printed! Peter, when contacted, did not respond by email or phone. Peter runs a scam magazine printing company where he shows you back issues of magazines online, shows you what a designed ad would look like on an online flip page. No physical magazines are printed by him and circulated to anyone! Peter promised us 25 physical copies of each of the magazines for our school's open house. We never received any magazine copies! Peter's fraudulent magazine operation hurt our school by not only taking our money but also by hurting our chances of advertising our school during a critical time of student enrollment. No ads for our school were run! Peter sent a woman to collect our payments, named: ****** ****** As of August 22, 2023, no magazines have been printed, and no copies of the promised magazines have ever been delivered to us.Business Response

I have been in contact with Mr. ******* and subsequently repaid him $795 out of $1495 so $700 left to go for a FULL REPAYMENT
The magazine has been printed now and is circulating and a single copy was delivered to Mr.*******'s school just for reference as we are refunding him and I don't want any expense on top of what's already been incurred
The refund as we have already had to print 5 pages of his for nothing! and with a sponsor logo as well (the cost just to me is over $800 in lost revenue) is guiling.
But as I was threatened with speaking to all my clients and starting a witch hunt, I didn't have anywhere to go, so agreed the full refund for damage limitation as my clients to some degree have already been approached by said Mr. *******. The rest of the refund will happen with the next week or so.
But with all that being said I just want this to be behind me and Mr. ******* to be but a bad memory

I was contacted by Peter V***** in early October to advertise in several of his publications. They were to be completed in a timeframe where the publications would run from Nov 2022 until April of 2023. He sold me on the different publications because they would be out during the times of Barrett J******, WM Open and the Super Bowl, here in Arizona. Well, it's February 2nd and I haven't received the publications, I haven't received proofs of any of the articles. I've contacted him several times over the last few months asking for ANYTHING, he keeps saying his producer, Denise, will contact me but no one has. I've texted several times and he responds saying he can't refund, because we have a publication deadline to meet, but the deadline was in Oct and Nov. So, I've asked for a refund due to the fact the events that these publications were suppose to be at have past, with no response. The total of funds he received from me for these publication ads is $1715.00. This was for a front cover ad, an interior 2 page ad in 3 publications and a team editorial in 2 of the publications. I was contacted by Peter V***** of The Veitch Group USA, Inc. to advertise my Real Estate business in his magazine for Fountain Hills and Rio Verde. I was shown a previous copy of his publication, which I liked and promised right side full page ad space in his publication due out on August 22. 2022. I was invoiced and paid $440 via *****. The fee came with ad design but I provided my ad well within the deadline. Peter and his ad designer both acknowledged receipt and acceptance of the ad after a last minute correction by my ad designer. Prior to August 22, 2022 Peter called back and last minute offered the same full page right side ad space in his magazine for the Scottsdale area, a larger distribution. We agreed to use the same ad which he and Denise the ad designer already had and approved. He was unable to invoice me but requested a second ***** payment on July 22,2022 $300 for the Scottsdale ad which I paid on July 22, 2022. I was promised 50 copies of each magazine delivered to my home pllus his normal wide magazine distribution by 8/22/22 August 22, 2022 passed but no magazine. I spoke with Peter on August 30, 2022 and he made printer and COVID excuses but promised the magazines delivered to my home by 9/12/2022 no problem. It is now mid-Oct 2022. I have not received any magazines nor found them in circulation and Peter isn't answering his phone. To date he has completely defrauded me if my payments totaling: $ 740.I really want the quality magazine distributed as promised but since he is not delivering anything I want my money back. He didn't even have to pay for ad design as I supplied an ad he liked very much. Just return my payments and log this complaint against his business. He's a con artist.
