    I had a blood draw at the labcorp in ************. I was not notified this would be out of network. **** received for excessive charge of $2300! Insurance says only $66 should apply to my out of network deductible. Therefore the charges are excessive and far more than any self pay customer or allowed by insurance. It would be reduced to the $66. I should receive what insurance is allowing for the out of network amount for deductible. You have charged me above and beyond. I called today ***** and your *** hung the phone up on me! Its fraudulent to charge this excessive fee beyond what insurance is allowing if the $66 for out of network fee. Invoice is ********

    $215.71 .......i have to pay ******* P ******* BILL EVERYTIME I GO FOR BLOOD WORK... IM ******* F ****** labcorp mixed our ss# we have same dob i have to pay his bloodwork every time i go .....im getting his test results....

    Every time I use LabCorp I provide my current accurate insurance card, and every time I then get a bill stating my insurance has denied my claim. I have an ***************** PPO plan, with a 3rd party administrator so I don't have the traditional ID# with the ******* alpha prefix. We have a self-funded active union plan. I have provided my ID card at every appt. I still get notices from lab corp stating claim denied (none on file with my actual insurance) these notices usually state I have Blue Shield out of State ins, but I have even heard ***** mentioned. I have never had either. I have provided faxed and emailed copies of my insurance card multiple times. I have asked to and have spoken with countless **** as well as supervisors who ensure it will be entered and processed correctly, only to receive final notices. This also becomes very stressful as LabCorp will not allow you to be seen with any outstanding balance. So, I am forced to pay when I know I don't have to (100% diagnostic labs/imaging coverage) and hope I can get a refund or go somewhere else. This is a very stressful situation to deal with each time. At this point there is no point in continuing to hope they get it right. I want my claims sent properly, I want to have the final threatening notices stopped, I want the collections stopped. We will use anyone else but LabCorp. It should be illegal to be so inefficient.

    I visited labcorp located in ******** fl ***** on 05/17/24 morning to do some bloodwork, there was a person working there whos name is *** ( she wasnt wearing a name tag but her colleague tells me her name) who was very rude and bossy, she told me i have to come after 12:30 pm because I didnt have an appointment, i went back there at 12:30 pm sharp , and wanted to check in but i remembered i eat something on my way to the lab I kindly asked that same employee if that is not a problem since every time i go to the lab to do bloodwork they ask me if i had anything to eat or drink so i didnt want to waste time checking in and then be turned away, she was very rude yelling at me telling me to check in and not ask her she kept yelling and told me to go ask my doctor. I sat there and waited for hours i had to check in again everytime i go out either to the bathroom or to quickly charge my phone before it dies, so at some point i came back inside and wanted to check in again , that when she called my name I assumed I didnt have to check in this time since she called my name, I went to her and she took the bloodwork order and processed the payment i payed using my credit card since i had no insurance, then i sat and waited for so long until i got frustrated seeing all people getting helped except me even those who came after me , so i got up and told her why its not my turn yet? Mind you that she called me to the register and proceeded the payment before I got to check in, I told her i have no more time I need to get going because i have a son that needs to be picked up from school, she handed me the paperwork as a sign that she cant do anything for me and i can leave if i want to, i was frustrated because all the time i waisted sitting there waiting, before i left I told her to cancel the charges that she already processed, then i left without getting any tests done that day, to my surprise i found out 2 days later that i was charged 281.90$ for test I didnt do.

    This LabCorp location is wildly mismanaged. I made an appointment for 1:00PM online. I checked into my appointment at 12:55 or so via the website link they provided. It is now 1:40 and I havent been seen. There is NO ONE at the front desk, and has been no one the entire time. There is one singular man in the back managing everything himself (completely unfair to him). There were over 20 people in the waiting room when he came out and kindly informed us he was ALONE and could only honor appointments. How is this man expected to do a safe, responsible job when he has so much in his shoulders alone? Where is the patient care? Where is the respect for peoples time? I understand the wait if youre a walk in, but if they cant honor appointments they shouldnt offer them. Furthermore, this is a lab facility meaning theyre collecting samples. If youre here for a urine test, you obviously need to be able to pee when youre called. Making someone wait, having no respect for their bathroom needs is disrespectful and abusive of patients. My request is that they are not allowed to offer appointments if they cannot honor them.
