DO NOT use Georges Appliance of Brooksville!! On Sunday, November 25th, my ******* Oven/Combo was overheating. Georges sent ***** out the next day and he diagnosed the problem to be the oven temperature sensor. He said the part would be in by 1pm the next day and he would come out to install it so we could cook our Thanksgiving turkey. Did anyone ever call us or come out..NO!! Finally we heard from ******* at Georges who advised us ***** would install the new part on Tuesday, Dec 2nd. ***** installed the part and apologized that ******* had not called us the day before Thanksgiving to say he would not be out. He said she was always good at running the office until she got this new boyfriend whom she spent most of the workday on her phone texting him!! ***** said he tested the new part and that the oven was fixed. WRONG!!..because on 12/5 my oven in 12 minutes turned our pizza black!! I called ******* back the following morning..she put me on hold and came back to say that ***** would have to order the other oven sensor and she would call me when it came in. When the following week I had not heard from her, I called and asked her what was going on? I asked her whether she had called the vendor to follow up to see if the part was in stock..had they shipped it and if so, what was the tracking number. ******* yelled I told you I would call you when the part comes in and slammed the phone down on me. My husband, on his phone, called her back, got 2 sentences out of his mouth and she slammed the phone down on him too!! The good news is that I now have a working oven thanks to ***** Appliance who, went above and beyond to get me a working oven. The problem was never the temperature sensor but rather the ************** A misdiagnosis by Georges Appliance together with having to deal with Miss *******, a rude and drop the ball employee, is why I have warned you to stay away from Georges Appliance!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I SHOULD HAVE paid more attention to the review about technician not understanding English and the company not knowing how to repair appliances. They charged $205 to repair an LG leaking dishwasher and after repair, appliance leaked more. I have left voicemails and texted them, with “no response”.

I have used George's Appliance Repair for two different appliances. A Washer and a Dishwasher. Both times, extremely professional, timely and felt I paid a decent price for repair done. Will use them again in the future if needed and highly recommend to anyone.

Very sketchy. I booked though an online portal. They called and told me they didn't have the time slot and asked if I could do another day. I couldn't. All of sudden they could do the original time slot. Day of appointment they stated they would be 2 hours late. They then told me they would not come unless I paid in advance. I believe this is extremely unprofessional and quite possibly a scam. I will not pay a service fee for a company that has not even shown up at my home. That is very unreasonable. They would not come unless paid prior.

We are one of the Top Pros on *********, with more than 500 reviews and over 4 years on the Platform. We have built a great community there. We receive an instant booking from this customer. We assume that by booking an appointment with a company you have read their profile, hours, and services they offer. In our profile we have stated that "* $60 Service Call Fee must be prepaid" If this customer did not agree with this condition, do not book an appointment with us. It is that simple. Nevertheless, this customer decided to book us. That day we had an opening earlier in her area to which we replied "Hey, Rebecca! Thanks for booking an appointment with us! By any chance, are you available today between 12-2pm? We just had an opening in your area!" and we called her. She said she was not available and we said no problem! We will just keep the original time frame. It is not that "All of a sudden we could do the original time slot" The original time was always available, we were just giving her the opportunity to take an appointment sooner because we had an opening in the area. Again, nothing "sketchy" about that. She talked with a repair person over the phone, one of our Customer Service Representatives, and she chose us to service her. Our Representative informed her that we were going to send her the appointment confirmation through text and that it needed to be completed prior to midnight of the day before in order to keep the appointment window. On that appointment confirmation the payment module for the service call fee $60 and the terms and conditions are present, followed by a request of signature indicating you agree with the information stated above. Mrs. ***** opened the appointment confirmation that day (yes our system informs us when clients view appointment confirmations and do not confirm or pay.) and did not pay or confirm. Another company would just assume the client does not need our services anymore or decided to not hire us. On the next day, (the day of the appointment) We call her, no response, and we leave a text saying that we have a reserved spot for her but we have not received the appointment confirmation. She says "yes we are ready for you" meaning she is assuming we will be there even though she did not confirm the appointment. Evidently, since we did not hear back from her the day before, we work with first come, first serve and if you did not confirm before the time needed, your time will become available again for other people to take. Of course we scheduled other repairs and they could get complicated, we explained to her that the technician could arrive between 2-4PM (keep in mind the original time was 12-2) or we could do it on Monday. She said Monday did not work and that 2-4PM was okay. Then, we sent her the appointment confirmation with the payment module again and stated AGAIN that it needed to be completed prior to the arrival of the technician. Then she started saying horrifying things about us and our business. If that was not enough, she wrote us 1 star reviews on our platforms stating we are a scam and many, many other awful things.
This individual did not even pay us cent, and the entire time we were just trying to help with the issue. Being on a service provider company with over 10,000 customers, we have learned that there are people filled with hate and anger, that hate their life so much they have to bring people and small businesses down that are trying their best to flourish and add value to society in order to feel better about themselves...and that says a lot about her values, morals and integrity. It is very sad and I hope Mrs. ***** finds peace and God.
For all other future customers, please read the terms and conditions of a company you are wanting to hire for a project! Their information is there for a reason, if you do not resonate or agree, please take advantage of the variety of service providers and choose the option that suits you best. Also, please support small local businesses the way you would like to be supported and treated with kindness and compassion, always.
On the other hand, we are extremely proud of how our team has responded towards this circumstance, and this only proves the diligence and efficiency of our representatives!
Thank you BBB for trusting us since day 1

I hire this company relying on ********* reviews to fix a GE dishwasher I only had for 3 years. The technician came by the first time and suggested to replace the Control Board. I ordered the piece through GE and he came back few days later and istalled it. It did not solve the problem So, I texted him to let him know that the dishwasher was still not working. He replied I need to get anther machime. Really? I paid about $700 three years ago. I asked if he could at least put the original control board back since it was not the issue. He said that if he were to do that, that will void any refunds. Well, thank you for screwing thins up and costing me a new unnecessary part. I was promissed a refund of $165 they charged for labor which I have not received even after calling multipple times.

I gave a description of what was happening to my washing machine at the moment I requested service. They came changed something out charged me $350. I call back and text that the washer is still doing the same thing. They now ignore my service request my calls and my texts. Do not call this company they will not diagnose correctly then you are out of your money. Even though they state they have a month of warranty.
