  What to do if illness strikes? In case of mesothelioma contact Asbestos.com. They have all the information about the disease, treatment options, medical centers, and legal firms. I had a great experience talking to Dr. Smart, who is very patient and compassionate person. Thank you.

  My father was diagnosed with pleural biphasic mesothelioma in July of 2023. It was shocking to say the least. My mom reached out to asbestos.com while doing her own research and we have been very pleased with the level of support and all around kindness. It is a scary time navigating this disease and the new normal of our lives caring for my dad but it is good to know their are experts that can help in all areas. Thank you!

  After speaking with Dr. *****, at the Mesothelioma Center, on the phone, I emailed her a copy of the report of my recent CT Scan of my lungs for review. She replied back to me with a plain explanation of the report on my lungs, which was written for a doctors understanding , not for the average patient. Now my wife 's mind is set at ease that I do not have lung cancer at this time and that my doctor is following standard practices, which is to follow up with a new CGT Scan in about 3-4 months. The doctor completed all responses to us in a timely manner and was very pleasant doing so. We were very pleased with the response time and actions taken.

  When my dear husband was diagnosed with mesothelioma, our family was paralyzed by fear and had a serious lack of knowledge about this disease.
  
  The medical personnel we encountered were not very helpful. I think it is because it is such a rare disease and they have not had very much experience in treating it. My son found Karen at the Mesothelioma Center. He had a very helpful conversation with Karen. Subsequently, I found myself reaching out to Karen for advice and information. I even felt comfortable asking about alternative medicine such as supplements and intravenous vitamin C. The established medical community is generally not open to alternative ideas. Karen has never failed to try to help. The disease is still very frightening, but our family has found some positive ways to proceed and we have been given hope. Hope is a very great gift. I would advise anyone facing this disease to make themselves open to the support and resources this center provides.

  I can’t imagine finding better support to help me as I begin this journey. Scary as it is, Dr. ***** has been there for me and is always available to answer questions, share opinions, and guide me to the information I need. I can’t imagine doing this without her help!

  Learning I was losing my mom to a disease I knew little about I found asbestos.com and blindly reached out for info and the center was more than helpful, kind and made me feel like I’ve known them for a long time through losing my mom. During the worst time of my life they showed compassion and so much help!

  I’m grateful for the guidance and referrals provided by the Mesothelioma team. In particular, Karen ***** helped walk me through my options and shared perspectives that physicians typically can’t, or don’t have the time to do. Each person with this condition will have different prognoses and personal circumstances, and having someone to review it all with is extremely helpful. In my case, a surgical option was likely my best bet at the time, and the team’s referral to someone specializing in meso procedures was a relief, albeit a bit scary. So, tremendous thanks to all.

  Everyone we dealt with at this organization were stellar. Communication was impressive, day, evenings and weekends. Their communication of care, compassion and support was genuine.
