    The company Tenfold Animations has not responded more over a month now regarding a project we agreed upon, with contracts stating paying said amount, will result in the completion of the animation project. It was supposed to be completed 2 months ago and now they are no longer answering my calls or emails. Investigating further I am not the only victim.

    In early July I **ntracted w/this ** to produce an animated short for 90 se**nds. I was told the **st would be $799. I put the first down payment of $400 with the assurance that I **uld pay the remaining $399 when the project was closer to **mpletion. Yet, the **'s ac**unt manager, *** ******, then insisted the ** **uld not carry out my vision for the short in 90 se**nds and needed 2.5 minutes following my script, which surprised me (as I was very mindful of the time **nstraint). They said I'd need to pay the other full minute--$799--or they **uldn't move forward. Wanting to do right by this project, I **nceded and paid. The **mpany repeatedly gave me previews with very noticeable audio problems during the mid-point. Even the first (of several) final cuts had bad audio. There were also issues with some graphics I had to keep asking be fixed. However, the entire short wound up being under 90 se**nds! So in late August I requested a refund of $399. For weeks, *** ****** was unavailable. First on sick leave, then on vacation. When I finally reached him on 9/19, he said he would process the refund. In mid-October, when I checked in, he said the refund hadn't been processed till 10/1 and would take ***** days to process (so be refunded to my ac**unt by mid-November). This is already a ridiculously long wait for a refund. By early December I still hadn't been refunded. So I followed up again. And then again. Finally hearing back today with explanations of the holiday season delaying my refund. This does not make sense because my refund was supposedly processed well before the holiday season began. I am a fledgling nonprofit that just began earlier this year and operate on a shoestring budget and work for a charitable cause. Being overcharged because of a misjudgment on the part of this **mpany and then being delayed a refund for for *FOUR MONTHS* is not acceptable. I want an immediate refund for the $399 I am well past due, with no more delays or excuses.
