    We have been patients of Orlando Periodontics and Implants for over a decade and have spent thousands of dollars at their institution. Never did we have a problem. In June of 2022, they finished a procedure which had taken months and garnered them thousands of dollars in revenue. In January of ****a year and a half after the procedure which our insurance paid thousands of dollars and we paid hundreds was completedwe received a bill for $222. The ******* of this bill is a dispute between our insurance and Dr. ***************************** office. Our insurer stated an overpayment had been made to their office and they wanted a refund. Inexplicablyrather than contacting the insurerthe office sent us the bill and demanded we pay the amount of which we had already paid.We contacted the office and explained that the issue was between the insurer and their office. Still, we volunteered to contact the insurer in an effort to resolve the matter. We contacted the insurer on January, 22, ****. The insurers representative called the office with us on the line and stated this charge was not our responsibility. The office manager wasnt in but the office representative stated she would get back to the insurer and then reach out to us to ensure the matter was closed once and for all.Insteadon January 25, ****the office sent the account to collections. Needless to say, we were shocked. We've always paid in full and never had a single late payment. Since this action can seriously damage our credit score, we are demanding that Orlando Periodontics accept responsibility and pull our account from collections immediately.Weve been going to Orlando Periodontics for over decade and have spent quite a bit of money there. If they can do this to us, they can do this to anybody.

    Account was an overpayment from insurance company that was received and had to sent back to insurance. Account was not adjusted and  sent to collections in error and has been corrected and pulled on 02/14/2024. The Issue has been resolved and fixed.
