I have a transaction that went through to an Insight Credit Union on my digital ledger on my Cash App Transactions. This has been an issue since 2022. Cash App insists that my transaction was received, however the receipt they have sent me via email has the appropriate financial institution while on the app it shows the my money was received by Insight Credit Union. If this is the same Insight Credit Union based in ******* I find this odd because I have never been to ******* nor have I inquired about opening an account with said outfit. In conclusion, my transaction via Cash App to my checking account somehow went to Insight Credit Union instead of to my account with my ********************************************* via my Revolve Finance Card. I sent money to my account and somehow it was re-routed to another financial institution? Is this common practice? Cash App refunded my transaction fee of $9.53 because I did not receive my funds (instantly) as requested.Initial Complaint

Insight credit union closed my account without warning, then months later a check for me was issued and somehow went to the closed bank account. ********************** issued the check to an address that isnt correct because they wouldnt let me change my address years ago. They would not reissue the check and only after 5 months was I allowed to try and receive the check again but only after spending more money to attempt to notarize a stop check form that must be sent back to them. They have not given me the return address to send it back and have avoided being helpful in any way. They are now charging a penalty on the check because I havent deposited it. I still have not received the check and they are creating barriers and using penalties in order to keep my money.Initial Complaint

March 2, 2023-car was broken in to and wife’s purse was stolen. Police report was filed and bank card was canceled
March 3, 2023- person went to different Insight Branches and withdrew a total of $6400 from savings. These were done at the drive thru of different branches
Bank still has not given our money back and keeps giving us the run around.
James with lost prevention of Insight will not speak to me or the detective on the case. They have video surveillance of the suspect going to the drive thru and withdrawing the money.
Still will not give money back and now I have overdraft fees and late fees are being accrued on bills because that money was for our billsInitial Complaint

In December there was a transfer made to an external account for $500. An error occurred and was told the transaction could not be completed. The following day I tried to transfer again and it was successful. In December 2021, I received an alert that my account had be adjusted for both transactions. I contacted the bank and a temporary credit was made. The information was provided including visiting the Lake Mary branch on more than one occasion. Later in February a letter came indicating that they will reverse and in turn the account was overdrawn. I reached out to the bank to let them know the error and provided a statement from the external account showing that I did not make two transactions for $500, but only one. In April 2022, I received a check that was less than the amount that I should have received and the account was closed due to that error. I had been an account holder for more than 20 years and to have to account closed for such an error and to receive no response or lack of regard is disappointing. Insight has on more than one denied deposits to my account from cash app. They then add multiple insufficient fund fees. The money is in my account but somehow they make it to where it shows it is not. Very shady practice. I currently have at least 4 added fees on my checking acct. The funds were there. Make it make sense.
