    It's a scam! After paying almost $600 for a yearly computer protection problem (I feel like a complete idiot). I was in a anxious moment working remotely from home when my computer warned me of a virus attack. I was told to call the number on the screen. I knew better, but I did anyway. After an hour on line with them putting icons on my screen and showing me computer searches that showed how many attempts to break into my computer, they had me convinced. After all of this they told me the subscription would be $699. I told them there was no way I could afford that price...because I am a senior citizen (one or the dumb ones obviously), they gave me a price of $500+ (I can't remember the exact price). At this point, I didn't know what to do because they had already done the repair and had their software loaded, so I took the contract. They call every month to do a checkup on the computer and ask the same questions over and over; how many computers do you have, do you have a service contract on them, etc. The first few months worked out fine, but the last month (December) they called and I got aggravated with the questions and I asked "why do we have to go through these questions every month? I have a contract with you, lets just get down to business and do your monthly search and updates. They hung up on me. Now I don't know what to do. I'm hoping I can remove their icons without damaging my computer. I will go to Geek Squad to have them help and get me back working properly. Learned my lesson...never again! F- in my books!
