    TERRIBLE!! We booked and prepaid for private round trip. Driver was late upon arrival (and did not offer to help with bags - good thing we were able to handle ourselves), and driver upon departure did not show up!!! Received the text saying they were on their way, still no show 20 minutes after the time they scheduled. Called Mears to find out where driver was for return, as we were worried about being late for our flight, and she hung up on us!! We had to scramble to find alternate transportation, and still have not received a refund. HORRIBLE service.

    I was schedule for an interview at 11:00 AM on 2-20-24. I signed in and waited in lobby. A gentleman came in after me and ***************************** approached him first. Ask him what he needed. He turned around and said "What are you here for"? I said I have a scheduled interview at 11:00. He said I will be right back. I was not given a good morning or how are you. Just what are you here for? He then helped a lady get on the computer and then approached me. You are here for an interview. Yes I have one scheduled today at 11:00. Why do you want to work for MEARS? I told him that I love busses and I love driving busses. He asked several other questions and then basically said we are not hiring full time people. As a canadaite for a position with an interview, I should have been given an interview. It only takes ***** min some ***** min. You get a feel for the person and then make your decision. I was not given that opportunity. I drove a 1 hour 45 min for an interview and was denied that. He basically called my 3 min 33 second interview in the lobby - my interview. He asked these questions in front of 3 other guests, which I thought was rude. I didn't even make it into the interview. I was stuck out in the lobby. Very unprofessional. He never got a chance to hear or see my abilities. As a former educator I am appalled in the way I was treated. A phone call would have been better than asking me questions in front of other guests. If he would have read my former jobs, he could have called my former employers and had a good idea prior to my interview to see what person I am. He failed to do that! The lack of care and irresponsibility he took in this interview was deeply overlooked and I WILL NEVER FORGET IT!!! His blatant lack of trust and willingness in the employee (guest) and employer relationship to create a bond with a future company was absent. He had prior thoughts about me and did not want me as an employee. ***************************** needs some more training in HR.
