    My sister ***** and I entered in contract with JK&R Construction *** ********************. Orlando FL ***** on or about May 08, 2025. We changed our minds from financing option to making payments ourselves on May *******. Once that was done with Mr. ***** ******* (area mgr); arrangements for deposit of $13,800 initially and $32,200 at completion. There was no correspondence/communication from them until June 16 to say windows will be dropped off next day. Even then we were never given an estimate/time when job would be completed. I left on scheduled appointment June 18. When installation was complete on June 19 **** called 4.32 pm balance was due. Told her not home but would make payment next day. She had to not get the President. Repeated what I told ****. He said the sooner we paid sooner lien will be lifted. I was shocked and asked why. He said statute 713 let him with any amount over $25,000. The balance was paid June 20 after 11 am. By 5 pm June 20 the account was debited. I have been asking for the lien to be lifted but offered platitudes. Asked **** , **** **** Oper, the Prez unsure of name, ******* and nothing was done. They say 7-10 days since June. The men lied. Research showed we must be notified of lien; and no notice to date. Last email 7/23 and no response. Home in disarray because of poor work and failed overdue inspection 7/14. Did nothing to make repairs until we sent strong email 7/23. We were violated and need letter verifying lien is lifted and reason it was placed in the first place. That statute is an option, but states if property is abandoned or repeated refusal to pay debt can put a lien. We also want others to be wary of JK &R. By agreement they determined the amount, we complied. Between May 13 and June 16 with $13,800 clutched in their hands they still put a lien on our home. We believe the speed with which they cashed ch #*** should be reciprocated in lifting the lien. Just for information JK&R is a DBA for ****** P. ******.

    The complaint made against JK & R CONSTRUCTION *** has been resolved amicably. I had conversation two of the company's Vice Presidents ***** and **** who assured me there's no lien on my home (*******************). In addition they sent a letter stating there is no lien. They stated that such action is a last resort anyway. They apologized for not being sensitive when we asked about the lien and merely said everything is good didn't ease our minds and me in particular because it exacerbated my asthma. So with the letter and assurances plus completion of the windows we see positive relationship moving forward. Both men assured us they have our best interest at heart. Whoever told me that day about the lien on our home remains accountable for unnecessary stress. However we are happy it has been resolved amicably.

    There was an error no lien was placed on this property a notice of commencement was signed and recorded due to Fl Law stating any amount over ***** must have a recorded noc on file. the customer job has been completed and final inspection has been passed the permit is closed. cutomer reached out to BBB 2 times to remove complaint and mariel with the BBB informed her that she could not remove the complaint multiple times. this is issue has been resovled. customer is very satified and happy with the work performed by JK & R Construction ****

    We purchased a window installation. They did the windows but haven't sent the inspector or replaced the bad screens and painted the exterior window. We have made contact with them repeatedly and nothing has been done. It's been many months now and still nothing. When we call now it's an automated system and can only leave a message. We would like this problem fixed and taken care off. Thank you for your assistance.

    The inspector showed up. But the installation company never brought the permit or paperwork for him to do the inspection.  What can we do to hold them accountable?

    Spoke with customer and had our guys come out to fix the problems for the inspection, customer was satisfied with the work. We have an inspection scheduled for Wednesday July 30th 2025 where the permit will be complete and finaled out

    We Spoke with customer and had inspection scheduled for Wednesday July 30th since wednesdays are the only day someone will be home. Customer reached out and rescheuled for Wednesday Aug 6th due to family visiting. Inspection is scheduled and someone will be there today for final inspedtion

    On June 18 I entered into a contract with *************** and **********. The contract was for replacement of 4 class 5 windows and soffits. I was told by their Representative at the windows would take 3 to 6 weeks to complete. I was informed that in August, they would be installed first or second week and the soffits would be completed as well. They were not. I made contact by text message asking when the windows and soffits would be installed. On the 13th of August I sent a texted message. On 10/23/24 ***** sent me a number to call I called twice no response. (***** ) On Nov 1st I spoke with ***** ****** it was set up for the 4th to finish the soffits ***** wanted payment immediately after completion on the fourth I said, Id send him a check because I wanted to have it inspected. after some discussion it was determined that after completion, I would give him my credit card to his office person *****. They were a no-show. And I have received no communication from them as to why they didnt show up after we agreed on payment methods. There bye prompting me to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
