I purchased a bike from this dealer Retro Cycles. Rented a van and drove 2 hours to pick up my new bike. When I got there the bike needed to be adjusted. It should have been an easy adjustment of the front handlebars (that are adjustable). After two hours of waiting I had to leave the store to head home. I did not want to incur additional expenses on the rental van The store called me 15 mins after I left and advised they figured out how to adjust the handlebars. They told me if I came back they would not charge me for the rear bag I ordered. I was told before heading to the store the rear bag would be there and it wasn't. During the paper work I asked that they note there would be no charge for the rear bag. They lied and said they would ship it for free, not give me the bag for free. Total lie, this is a $4000.00 bike free shipping on the bag? I never would have gone back. I spoke to the shop owner today, very deprecating, kept calling me dude and advised me I was not nice to his team members.  I thought I was nice I gave them 2 hours to make a simple adjustment on the bike that they sell. I gave the dealer a review on Google. Needless to say he was not happy. Owner called me and threatened me to take it down. kept calling me after I hung up. I have records of all his calls. Please post this to save other shoppers from this horrible experience.

Hi David, thank you for your review. We are very sorry to hear you are not happy with your new bike. We took the time you deserved to set it up to your specifications, while you criticized our techs the whole time. We also let you know that the rear bag was out of stock from the manufacturer til mid-October, and offered to ship it free of charge once it was available. We did not offer the bag for free at any time of the transaction, and the fact that it was out of stock from the manufacturer was out of our control, but was relayed to you. The way you treated our staff, especially my tech who is disabled, was unacceptable. He was so inconsiderate to our staff, we even had a customer walk in and ask our staff if they were okay and what he could do to get him to stop yelling at them. Your Google review was also false and unacceptable. We have been a Gazelle dealer for many years, they are wonderful bikes and we have many happy customers that purchased them from us. We wish you all the best, enjoy your new bike for many miles!
