I am in vacations in the USA and I decided to rent a car. I contacted the Owner directly via Facebook in a Marketplace ad on December 7, 2021. The owner always responded to messages (in the Messenger app and also on*********), he was solicitous, he took the car to the******** where I was, then I dropped him off at his home at****************************. The agreed amount was: $350 for one week + a $100 refundable deposit for tolls and possible damages. I have photographs of the car, the condition it was in, and I delivered it in pristine condition, with a full gas tank and in compliance with our agreement. The return of the deposit amount should be made (discounting tolls) within 4 working days, in person or he said could be also by bank transfer. As I returned the vehicle on December 14th, I waited until the following week, I've been trying to contact the owner's in two numbers, messages are delivered, he even constantly changes his profile photos on********* (which means that the numbers are active ) and he hasn't replied to messages since December 21st. Almost every day I text and have been patient, I've been treating him well, no bad words or anything like that. I would really like a justification as well as my money back.
