      This company is towing cars illegally and asking for a fee in cash to drop and not providing receipts or any proof. They also damage the cars in the process.

      I am writing to formally address the wrongful towing of my vehicle from my apartment complex, an incident that has now occurred for the second time. The towing company involved appears to be operating under two different namesNRJ Towing and JL Towingwithout proper registration under a Doing Business As (DBA) designation. When contacted by phone, the business identifies itself as NRJ Towing, yet it is registered under the name JL Towing. This suggests a potential deceptive business practice aimed at exploiting vehicle owners for financial gain.The facility where my vehicle was towed was inadequately equipped, with the payment area being less than 10 feet in space and only a small window for transactions. Upon requesting an itemized bill, I was presented with a towing ticket that contained several inaccuracies, including my last name, the vehicle model, and the year. This indicates that the business is carelessly seizing vehicles without proper verification, relying on the assumption that victims will pay without question.Furthermore, I requested to see the authorization letter from an official at my apartment complex that would have authorized the tow. This document was not provided to me, raising further concerns about the legality of the towing action.Given these circumstances, I am requesting immediate action to address this matter and to investigate the practices of this towing company. It is essential that proper legal protocols be followed, and that the rights of vehicle owners are upheld.08/25/2024

      March 31 2024 at 11:39pm JL Towing Company contacted Orange ********************* and said they towed my vehicle. No reasoning why nothing. Called to report my car stolen and was given the information that it was towed by JL Towing after 7 calls to them they finally answered the phone. Asked about my vehicle and they bluntly told me they did not have the vehicle. Called 911 back to tell them I just need to make a complaint and report it stolen because they said they didnt have it. 911 dispatcher called them and told them to provide me with my information on my vehicle he starts denying that I have proof that this is my vehicle. ************************************************************************************ on the line. My husband called them back and they said they we were double parked so they took it. They had been caught f****** with my truck 4x before this. Pictured below how is a 2007 **** Econoline 16 ft box truck going to be double parked. How?

      I had my motorcycle parked in the parking garage where I live for over a year, at which point I one day found it missing. When I spoke to my apartment's office they didn't have a record of it being towed. I also called their towing company (JL Towing *******) directly and they denied towing a vehicle with the last 4 digits of my VIN. I called the ******* ***************** and initially they said they didn't tow it and to call their own towing company directly to confirm. That company also had no records of towing my vehicle. But when I called the police again to report it as stolen, the operator was able to see that it had been towed by JL Towing ******* on 8/3/2023 and subsequently auctioned off on 9/11/2023. I'd like JL Towing to replace my illegally towed vehicle and all accessories and belongings it contained, equaling $7500.00 or more.

      Where do I start? I had a wreck on Tuesday and had a sticker 3 days later on my vehicle. The problem is I told the office they was full aware that my truck just had gotten an accident. They called the tow company and the tow company was very rude would not give me any phone numbers to talk to Management or the owner of the business I called the **** ******** apartment complex Also JL towing that the claim adjusted would be out in a few days. If nothing I could do my tag is up-to-date. My insurance is up-to-date. Im parked well within the white lines. so I do not see a problem but ** was so rude and told them we cannot give you a date when were going to tow your truck. It might be today might be tomorrow but they had a sticker on my truck saying in 24 hours I am a full-time dad trying to make a way for my child and this is what I get for a tax paying person and paying my rent where I live so I do not recommend anybody you to move at Park ********. JL Towing, runs a bad business very rude to customers they have bad business .

      My car was towed from my apartment complex on 11/07/2023 because I was apparently parked on a white line. There is nothing in either the tow company policy or apartment complex policy stating this being a violation. When I went to pick up my car I asked for their policy and was advised there is none. the agent was very unprofessional and refused to give me a copy of the apparent violation. This injustice needs attention because I did not break any law and had to pay a price to have my property returned to me. I would like to have my monies returned to me please.

      JL Towing wrongfully took my vehicle which was both legally parked and compliant with ALL parking conditions . They subsequently harbored the vehicle illegally including children’s medication, belongings and vehicle and intentionally predatorily towed on 10/30/23.

      JL Towing claims that the ticket was “upside” down and not visible. It was the only car in the parking lot that clearly displays the rules which were both followed and I have clear and proper evidence over.

      Their predatory towing behavior displayed last night can be shown via photo and physical evidence I have. Their dispatcher displayed egregious behavior on the phone furthering confidence they routinely illegally tow legally parked vehicles. I intended to resolve directly however when attempting to obtain their lawyers information they hung up on me.

      My lawyer is *** ********** of ******* * ***** - they have a small penthouse office a few blocks over where I was illegally towed.

      My car was towed on the morning of 9-18-2023 on the bases of not having a registration decal. The decal was attached to decals of years past and was on the plate as of last night. When trying to retrieve the car the workers were rude and said "maybe you should look into yourself why you got towed". They also did not provide any evidence of the car parked without the decals, as the whole stack of decals was removed which shows that they removed them as an excuse to tow the car for money. This company creates excuses to tow cars taking advantage of those who may not have the funds to retrieve their car and should be looked into. Thank you for your time.

      I paid for parking in a lot downtown and the towing people towed my rental car because he wasn’t able to see a sticker. So when I got to the towing office where my rental car was I showed him proof that I actually paid to park there and he still made me pay a towing fee of $135 to get my car. So I paid to park there and was still towed and had to pay to get my car returned.
