    So I lived in this apartment and left early because it was not safe to live in . I was pregnant and had to live in horrible conditions . I told them that I will withhold rent if the issue were not fixed I got ignored. So I documented that I with break the lease if the issue werent fix I was ignored so I broke the lease and left and still hasnt received my deposit. Now I just got a call from *************************** stating that I owe 5k to this business. I am not paying anything Issue with the apartment bathroom roof was leaking for a month I also slipped down multiple times while pregnant mold was present , I took a mold test insert were there kitchen was flooded due to dishwasher I meet flooded prior to moving in. ac unit wasnt working with sense.I was pregnant and had to live in these unsafe conditions , I tried to contact a lawyer, code enforcement and also the health department and didnt hear back .

    Caden at ********- 1989 Americana - my lease was from 4/21/23-4/19/24.-during stay high employee turnover - reason for lack of or no communication.- My lease required I give 60-day notice and what date I intended to vacate.2/4/24- I sent email that said, "My lease is up 4/19/24 and I will not be renewing. I would like to ask to extend my lease by 2 days so I can move out on the 20th.... is this possible? What are the steps for move out? Do I need to schedule an appointment with someone to do a walk through once I have everything packed and cleaned."2/19 went into office to hand deliver my notice - after an hour was told by other office personnel- I could leave the document on ******* desk- I did! - the above email was sent to a group of people on the company site- 12 to be exact. No one responded with any type. 3/19- I went back into office - spoke to property manager *******************- she was too busy to be bothered- was short and very dismissive. When I explained I had given notice and was trying to follow up - she stated she had not received the email or the letter that I was told to leave on her desk by other staff person in office. -while there I forwarded to her as I had already told her she was on the thread from 2/4/24. She said she would honor the notice once she seen it verified she had received 2/4/24 email on 3/19. -4/1/24- an issue with my rent. went to office ****** was all apologetic and corrected it there was charges for not giving 60-day notice, rent due was for full month. She took off stated it was an error. -I paid a prorated- Moving end of lease 19th. Balance zero owed. - attempted to schedule walk through - was told by ****** - they are busy refused to schedule. Walkthrough did happen on 4/18- keys turned over- no issues! After I was out added charges for not giving 60-day notice. Corp office - given copy of 2/4 email state that my notice was 3/19 and therefore are not giving deposit back and added I owe them $488.

    On 10/19/2023 3:40:08 PM CST, myself and my associate, *********************, were looking an apartment to rent and have been in contact with Caden Apartments for months. After we got our things in order we applied for one of there 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms apartments, even with all the delays, setbacks and lack of communication. However, we had faith and trust in our leasing agent, **************, which has apparently left the company now and got everything mostly sorted. Eventually, we got approved, but after dumping $776.67 into fees and rent/expenses we could still barely get into contact with Caden even after multiple calls and emails. Not to mention when we did get into contact we couldn't much information regarding what was to come next. After about a month of this we got a call saying our apartment was no longer available with no further information and we were apparently being moved to a different apartment without our knowledge or consent as we chose Caden due to it's location. We were then told that WE apparently ask for this transfers (which we did not) and have been able to get practically no information regarding our apartment that we were approved for and the money that was already spent nor did we hear what is happening for the supposed other apartment we should be getting. I would like for all the money we were charged to be refunded (the amount I listed could likely be incorrect) and an explanation for what even happened here.

    We live in a unit with over 10 rats ! Apartment doesn’t do nothing but put foam and boards up which sealed them in here . We didn’t have a pest control company for apartment now there is but we have been asking for a transfer to another unit for a long time now and we still are unable to transfer over . The situation just keeps getting worse and worse and it’s unsafe and there kids here . Very unsanitary!!!

    I paid the application fee of $50 for an apartment online via The Caden Website. The money did clear my account early last week but the company failed to give me an answer in the outcome of my application. In there application it states a decision will be made within 24 to 48 hours but I received no decisions still and its nearly a week since my submission. How does a company accept the funds but fails to followup with the customer with the device they paid for. Are those legal business practices. I'd like my money refunded to the account that it was paid with due to the fact the company failed to give me any decision on my application. They accepted my money but to date has failed to call me with any service. Proof of Payment document has been provided for verification purposes.
