  After realizing that rats had been making our attic a home for some time, we called Critter Control. ****** came out promptly and spent time our attic, showing us photos that confirmed a real problem. He told us the ** could resolve the problem and offered a complete plan that would get rid of all rats and then send a crew out for attic restoration. It would NOT be cheap, but we felt we had to spend the money. Another CC tech, ******, came out just after and spent much of a day going over every inch of house, particularly on the roof, and sealing every opening where rodents could gain entrance. Rather than sealing up the last hole into our attic, the largest and presumably busiest, the installed there a one-way trap-like device that allowed the rats to run out but not return. Since the rats had no food or water when in the attic, they all had to find their way out. By the following week, we werent seeing or hearing any rats, nor sensing any nasty odors to suggest any had died up there, and the attic restoration crew of three spent a full day vacuuming out the whole attic, sucking out old insulation and a plethora of rat p*** Once clean, the attic received a disinfectant treatment; then, they blew in new ************* far as we can tell, the work as thorough and professional, and done on time and as promised.

  When I was given my estimate I was told I had to pay half to start the work and after the work was completed the second payment would be due in 30 days. The job took 2 days to complete. After they came out the first day, 2 days later I received an invoice a d it said I had 10 days to pay it. I called them and told them the job wasnt done. They told me well if it not done when it is complete we will send you a new invoice. I also told them I was told I had 30 days to pay it and I wouldnt have the money to pay it off until 6/10 which would have fallen within the 30 days. They came back the following week and finished up the job. They never sent me a new invoice. They also charged my credit card for the final payment without my permission. They dont care about their customers only about making money.

  Critter Control claim to be a leader at trapping and removing nuisance wildlife, yet the raccoon which I had hired them to remove from my house, walked right past the ineffective trap that they set on my roof and left of its own accord.Undoubtedly helped by the fact that their was a large gap between the trap and the hole in the roof, and by the fact that despite saying they would return every day to check on the trap, they didn't in fact return for three days.After removing the trap, they spent less than an hour sealing up the hole in the roof with a cheap looking piece of wire mesh.Despite their incompetence Critter Control charged me a whopping $1600 for this farcical service, claiming that the small print in their contract states that the space will be free of pests - regardless of whether removed by them or not.I called Critter Control in the hope that they might see fit to offer me a discount in light of this situation but the customer service representative I spoke to was unsympathetic and abrasive, even laughing at my suggestion that they could refund some of my payment. She suggested I put my complaint in writing, which I did later that day via email, but never received a response from Critter Control.In summary I do not recommend Critter Control due to their incompetent technicians and poor customer service.

  This company installed our insulation in the attic 6 months ago with a poisonous cellulose insulation . We have to pay another company to take out their insulation. .we were never shown the product .this product is shredded up paper with chemicals .we had dust inside the house for months ..the insulation was suppose to be sprayed down wiith water so there would be no dust ...this was not done thus the insulation will have to be removed .we will have to pay another company to put digfrent insulation in the attic
