            Nov 2021-My car was towed to Lane's for transmission problems and I paid $2,812.44 with Check 1402. In Dec 2021, I broke down again on I-75 with the same exact transmission problems and so we took it back to Lane's during the Christmas break and it has been there ever since. I have called several times and I have been told, we got the part and we will put it on the lift and it will be ready Friday or Monday. I call the next week and I am told the same thing. My husband went to the shop on 4/5/2022 and asked if they would return the money so we could take it to a place that could fix it and he was told they could not do it. I understand there are issues these days with parts, but it has been there for 17 weeks and they never call with a status and if I call, I do not think I am told the truth. I sent a letter to the shop yesterday and asked them to please give me updates and also asked if they could help with rental cost.

            I will advise you to stay away from this shop! They rebuild my transmission 2 years ago. I took my car back because it was shuttering so they advice it was the torque **************** will charge ***** to reinstall a new one. Remind you the transmission was almost $5,000. My paperwork reads a rebuilt torque converter when they claim it was new. They had my car for 2 ********** was parked in the same spot for 3 days with the hood up.The excuse was we waiting on a lift I passed by daily to see. To my knowledge they didnt even look at it. It was never a lift available. I go to pick it up my battery is dead. The customer service **** and all they did was lie. The ENTIRE SHOP! If you want your vehicle fixed correctly do not go to Lane!
