On June 15, 2025 ( yesterday), my Wife and I went to the ************ in *****, **. We were approached by a lady who was working at a kiosk in the center of the mall and began a conversation about my wifes appearance and wanted ( more like forced) on my wifes skin . She was then taken to a spa where she was attempting to sale her a $10000. Red light . We were aware that we were being scammed. We left the spa without purchasing the machine and immediately went back to the kiosk to return the product for Credit and the same sales lady that sold the product refused to Give us a credit for the payment. She refused to refund it she told us that a manager would have to refund it. Conveniently, the manager was not there and she told me to call the number on the receipt ***************). No response. Later, I received a call from a lady who told me that she wasnt a manager but would call me back on 6/15/25. November return calls and no call answered when I left a message today. This store and company is a total ripoff and should not be allowed to be in business.Customer Answer

Beautyfrizz finally called me and the dispute was handled. I had to wait a few days but was refunded fully. Their product was terrible and left me with a dermatology bill for treatment for my wife’s face and neck. She has since recovered. I would like to lose my complaint but othered need to know about this.Initial Complaint

On May 6, I stopped at a skin care kiosk at ************************* in ***********. They demonstrated a product for under eye bags and I purchased it. Then they invited me to visit with a special out of town skin care specialist at their spa location in the mall. With high pressure sales techniques they offered a free facial and said she had a rare space in her schedule to fit me in. The out of town sales person was not a licensed esthetician and the products she sold me have not worked like the demonstration in the mall that day. I purchased a red light wand and skin care products and a facial package that was upsold and I was pressured to sign up for a loan to pay for the package. The skin care products have not performed like the treatments on the day I purchased them and the facial had irritated my skin and caused swelling and hives. The original purchase of under eye treatment has not worked as the demonstration did and I strongly suspect a vasoconstrictor cream (like hemorrhoid cream) was added to the treatment, which was only effective for a few hoursInitial Complaint

My 82 yr old mother got scammed last weekend (May 6, 2025) into buying $10,600 worth of products from the salesman ****. She went in for a facial apt and **** the salesman talked her into a "deal" that included a $6000 24K gold device, stem cell cream and VIP treatment plans. This is a store at the ******* A face lift, that WOULD ACTUALLY be performed by a licensed and accredited surgeon, is less money than what she paid. This is more than HALF of her life savings!!! Claiming her wrinkles (at 82 yr) will go away. I am soooo upset! This is ELDERLY ABUSE and sadly it happens ALL THE TIME! The *********************** have had previous complaints and are aware of their practices. They offer NO refunds. At all. I am filing this complaint here on behalf of my mom, the ************ with a senior citizen's scam report, her ******************* to investigate a full refund. I've left reviews ALL over the internet as a "buyer beware." I will also tack onto a possible lawsuit being filed by other patrons of this SHAME of a Business. I certainly hope the salesman **** is ashamed of himself! Would HIS mom be proud of what he is doing? Please help me recover the $10,600 she spent at this Ocala location. And SHUT THEM DOWN!Initial Complaint

On 8/30/2024, I walked by the Beauty Frizz store in **********************************. A salesperson invited me into the store. Once I was in the store, he sat me down in a chair without asking for my permission. Then he started some small talks and asked me if I would like to try their eye-lifting serum. I said yes and he put on some serum under my eye. The serum appeared to work. Then he said this serum used to cost over a thousand dollars. He said the store has a promotion yesterday and today and it is only going to cost $500. I said OK. (Hours later I found out that he actually charged me $640). He said with this purchase, I am eligible to have a free consultation with one of their experts. He looked at his calendar and said he can make an appointment for me with the expert in Oct. Then he said: "you are so lucky! The expert can see you today at 1PM!" So at 1PM I saw the "expert". The "expert" put some serum on my face and used an LED device to rub the serum in. The "expert" said the LED device treating face only and one-year of skin treatment with him is going to cost $4600. There are two other options: $6000 and $10,000. I chose the cheapest option $4600. I paid using my credit card (the charge was actually $4800. He took my card and used it to pay $4800 instead of $4600 without showing me the actual charge). My credit card company declined the transaction because they suspected that it is fraudulent. The "expert" asked me to sign some document on his iPad. He said the document is just warranty for the "device". I finally came to my senses and said I needed time to decide on such a big purchase. I left the store. I searched for "Beauty Frizz" on the Internet and found tons of complaints about them. At least one woman said she signed some document without reading the document and later realized that the document she signed said that she agreed to pay thousands of dollars. I suspect the document I was asked to sign was not warranty as claimed by the "expert".Initial Complaint

On the day of 01/10/2024 While strolling through the mall, I was approached by an individual from BeautyFrizz store. ****, the store manager, offered me a package deal for a membership of products and facials priced at $5,000. I handed over my credit card, which he swiped three times, resulting in a double charge. Claiming an issue with the card, he requested another one and proceeded to charge me once more. Realizing it was a scam, I opted not to purchase the products.I left the store without any products or membership. The salesperson assured me that canceling the order wouldn't be an issue, but unfortunately, it was never done. Now, my bank is asking me to pay for something I never bought. This beauty franchise is a complete scam. Avoid purchasing from them and refrain from sharing your credit card details, as they will stop at nothing to deceive you. From my own experience, I am now faced with significant bills for items I never received or signed up for. There should be regulations in place to protect consumers from individuals like this.Initial Complaint

I am a victim of a bait and switch scam which also involved credit fraud. During this application treatment ****** applied sales pressure and treatments for three hours. He claimed this product cost $15,000.00 but because the packing was torn, he would give me the device for $2397.50. He opened the box took out the device telling me he did so to make sure it was working properly. I gave him my **************** card to pay for it in full. The payment receipt showed the words Amex and the last four digit of my Amex card, A short time later I received an email from a financial company AFFIRM stating I will pay $109.25 every month for 36 months which equate to approximately $3,933.00, adding $1,536.00 in interest. I received no application, terms, or options regarding this credit charge. I was not aware I was to be charged by this company. My husband called Beautyfrizz and was connected with ****** and asked what type of return policy they offered. ****** said there was no return policy because it was a Medical Device and had been opened, although he was the one who opened it. He told my husband the company would make an exception and accept the return for a full refund if I agreed to pay for two facial treatments for a sum no more than $300.00. An appointment was made for July 2, 2024, to return the device. A man identifying himself as **** claimed to be the manager told me ******* agreement would not be honored. We asked them to call the company and find out why they wouldnt honor the verbal return agreement. We asked that we be given the name and contact information of a higher authority, but **** refused both requests. ****** told us, in Nicks presence, he recalled I wanted to pay this amount if full. The conversation ended in a heated manner when we asked **** what his last name was he said, I dont have a last name. He also said, I dont care about your rules or your laws and walked away.Initial Complaint

Paddock Mall Ocala FL
5/15/23 Beauty Frizz subsidiary of MAZAL Group DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES &
HIGH PRESSURE, PREDATORY SALES TARGETING THE ELDERLY
“Tony the manager” balked because I wanted to do research, before buying a $6500 device. “Why do research?!” He produced a “damaged package” & the price is now $1,450 & he will credit me the $150 that I spent at the mall kiosk where “Amy” had sold me a damaged package as well. Tony showed a binder with receipts for $150-$21,000 & copies of customers' IDs. Tony ran my credit card & he did something strange. He pointed just above the signature line & said, “This is where you sign.” Me: “This isn't the first time I've charged something.” I see now that this is a diversion (don't look below the line).
Under the line: ALL SALES FINAL NO REFUND. EXCHANGE ONLY IN 3 DAYS. WE DO NOT ACCEPT OPENED PRODUCTS. (NO SIGN WAS posted stating this-I verified the next day).
Tony took the signed slip away, put my copy of the receipt & the instructions for the device COVERING MY receipt in a catalog.
I had a bad feeling. I was rushed out. At home I photographed the damage to the box. I began charging the device. I got the catalog & it was then that I saw the ALL SALES FINAL on the hidden receipt. I unplugged the device & put it back in the box.
At 11:05am I went to return the device. Tony asked in a VERY accusatory tone, “Why did you use it?! Why did you use it?!” I said, “I DIDN'T use it, I want my money back, because of medical bills from my heart surgery!” Tony said no. I got upset & started crying.
Tony got a man & said he was “Nick, the Manager.” Nick had me sign a note & said he would contact Empire, & try to get me a refund. Nick told me I would get “an email from Colorado.” I haven't received email from “Colorado” or anywhere else - in regular/spam folder.
I filed a dispute with Visa about this purchase & I've contacted the county about this issue. $1,391 Marvelous LED Sonic Device Infrared light. **************
