  If able, it would be a minus on all levels. The owner can't read and can barely write. My custom home (so called) was done with the cheapest materials available. My house is suppose to be over 4000 square feet, it's under 3000. The inspector was obviously bought, said the house was up to standard. A disabled veteran home (supposedly handicap accessible) with the air conditioner unit in the attic, no ladder to enter the attic, floors all cracked up, openings in the ceilings (which are 10 to 15 feet high, the foundation in my home has split. There are cracks all around the outside of the home, inside and outside, no rebar was added. The owners didn't come back to make any corrections, we were told all contractors were busy. They start a project and you have to finish. They were constantly asking my husband for money, my husband was put on a loan application as a co signer for a loan for the wife. The owner started cleaning off the portion of land he was getting ready to use, he didn't hire anyone to help so the land was not cleared and leveled. He was preparing for the foundation to be laid without any plans around, I asked my husband, don't he suppose to have the plans? My husband asked him if he had the plans, this owner/non contractor said No, you got some? He was/is not licensed and was allowed to do a job and we were told by the people in Ocala that we only need one permit to cover the total job. The job site was not secured and the house was broken into (I personally think it was the guy she dropped off at our house) and they didn't bat an eye that all the items I purchased was gone, no police was called until my husband called. They couldn't build me an ant hill. The owner didn't want to add shower doors, she said they were to expensive and we can have them put in ourselves, no tissue or towel holders installed. This is a disabled soldier home that was left in such a mess.

  Mrs ********* built your home in 2017. To this day, you nor your husband have contacted Ray's Construction by email, text, letter or phone about ANY of the issues that you speak of in this review. I am not sure how to respond. I don't know what your point or desire is in placing this review. You were VERY HAPPY with your home and you have not called or complained to us directly until this review. So in an effort to respond, I must admit that I can not speak to the condition of your home because you have not asked us to come back about any cracked up floors or walls. Many of your claims about being unlicensed and not having plans are simply not true. And as for the theft, we (you and I) went to the store (Lowes) and I repurchased all of the fixtures that you claimed that you had bought. Why on earth would I do that to MYSELF. Regarding the police report, we requested that you contact the police because the incident involved your property. You were supposed to call the police. Once again, I am unsure how to respond.
