On November 10, 2023, Dynamic Plumbing Technology, LLC responded to my request for a quote through the BBB website. I stated I needed help with my double kitchen sinks clogged up. He said he needed to come out to quote me a price, which I found odd as generally, it can only be a few things, and based upon those scenarios should at least be able to give me a ballpark range like the others. He emailed me and called me before he came out and he assured me he was a licensed plumber. He came out the same day. I confirmed his name, and he said it was ****. He said he could fix the problem for $235. The first thing he did was lay down a business card on my dining room table, which shows the name Plumbing Technology and the next line, **** ************. That seemed odd to me as the name of the business was not the same; he did not have his address, last name, or business license number. I asked him again if he was a licensed plumber, and he confirmed once again that he was. I asked him why his license number was not on his card, and he said it was on his truck. He assured me he could pull a permit if one was required. I told him that by law, all licensed contractors are supposed to have their license number on their advertising material and invoice, and he stated that he obviously is a licensed contractor as BBB would not let him advertise on their website if he was not. I told him that is not true. In fact, it is stated on his profile by BBB that this business is in an industry that *** require professional licensing, bonding, or registration, yet he did not offer his business license.Once he was at my home and inside, he went to my kitchen sink, and he quoted me $235 to fix the problem. I again questioned the price as I had gotten much lower quotes but responded that ***be it was because he is a licensed plumber, and then that was a competitive price; however, the others told me there were as well. I wanted a licensed plumber as I had other work I needed him to do, which would require a licensed plumber by law. He told me his license number was on his truck. I walked out to his truck with him, and it was not there. He never provided me with his license number, which he should have done. We agreed to a lower fee of $200, and I allowed him to work on my sink, giving him the benefit of the doubt.
