    I met ****** ***** in April regarding my roof that needed to be replaced. He communicated with me through out the whole process. My insurance company obviously did not want ti give me much of the money to complete the whole roof. ****** and the attorney worked very hard to prove to the insurance company to pay completely for the roof per all my damage of Hurricane ***. It was a real delightful experience working with ****** *****! ??????

    Very pleased with my relationship with this company. They came through with everything they said they would and I will be receiving reimbursement from my insurance company towards my new roof.

    Worst experience ever. Ghosted us part way into the process. No communication. Then the insurance sued us due to their negligence. Was calling them begging for help as to how to respond. Called main ******** office begging for help because the ******** rep ********************* was *** only to be told by the name I saw in Sunbiz.org as the owner that i'd half to speak with the guy that's been *** for months. What a bunch of garbage. Hired a great lawyer and all because of my own due diligence in emails sent prior to getting involved with ********************* and Five Star saved us. ***** emailed Christmas Eve at 10:00PM basically saying to lawyer up cause i was out of luck. They called after hearing I had a lawyer saying they would help with information, etc.. LOL Like i frigging needed them. What a joke. Do yourself a favor and find someone else.

    Beware of this company! I was working with a company by the name of Fire Recovery Assistance (***************************** and *************************************) after I had a fire at my home. This company was very adamant about referring me a good claims adjuster that would make sure I received a payout form the insurance company. This adjuster was Mr.*********************************** for Five Star Claims Adjusting. ********* agreed to charge me a commission of 10% instead of the usual 20-25%. Since he was referred by them , he advanced their ability to defraud me out of thousands of dollars. At the time, I didn't realize that they were working together. After working with ********, I realized that he would correspond with the insurance company without including me on the emails. I requested that he include me. I signed an authorized form for FRA to receive funds for fire cleanup. However, they added mold, fire and the demolition work of rooms they didn't do. ********* helped them but not including me on emails and made sure the insurance company received their invoice and told the insurance company to mail them their check directly. By the time I found out, the insurance company already mailed them the check. They receive a check for $83,000. So now, I had to hire another company to do the work FRA claimed to do in the amount of ******. After trying to get them to come back to do the work. ******* then disclosed they are not licensed to do mold and fire remediation. ******** never checked with me to make sure they did what they claimed to do. Instead, he advocated for them. He knew exactly what he was doing. I'm pretty sure he received some money from them for helping them to defraud me out of thousands of dollars. When I asked him about it he them said he has nothing to do with their invoice or their payment from the insurance company. He knew exactly what he was doing.

    I purchased a policy on my furniture that was acquired 3 years ago from a local Furniture store. I have had an incredibly terrible experience with 5 star. My daughter spilled nail polish glue on our love seat and they said it is normal wear and tear. I asked to send a technician out to look at the damage and they just kept repeating that they will not cover the damage due to normal wear and tear. The incident happened on 3/3; I reported it to Five Star on 3/6 and have had to contact them due to no response of my questions 3/14; 3/24; 3/27; 3/28. I am very dissatisfied with my purchase of this policy. I have read the contract and they have not stood behind what was sold to me. I feel it is unfair that they are making assumptions on the furniture without a technician coming to assess the damage.

    My home after a year of repairs got a leak that started from my roof, to kitchen & extended to living room. My contractor recommended ********************* from Five star & what started off as a great experience ended feeling like a scam. In our initial meeting he was open about my ************ restrictions, so when I got only $1452.34 back from everything I was disappointed & mentally unprepared. My damages were more than $15000. When we initially met, **** stated that based on the relationship they had (Five Star) with the water removal company Aqua Docs who efficiently did their job, customers are able to get a rebate amount as they are aware sometimes the policy on older apartments have limitations. **** informed me that they agreed on $2000 & I would be getting a check in the mail this is ending of September 2022. Early October he said they reissued the check, on a phone call he said they placed the check in his name and it was dispatched so he should be getting it and would Zelle me. Late October he said the check was on his desk. November he apologized for not paying as he is on the west coast, December he stops taking my calls. I have all his text messages to support me review. I called five star in January 2023 to speak to a manager they took my info and its now February 1 2023 no one has called me back. A total scam. I am so distressed as my expenses for repairs were out of pocket and this would have assisted me. No one should have to go through this.
