    MY NAME IS ******** ****** AND I LIVED AT THE NORTH HORIZON FROM 2019 UNTIL JULY 2021. IN 2020 THE COUNTRY WAS DEALING WITH COVID. I WAS STILL WORKING UNTIL FEB OF 2021, BUT WAS STILL ABLE TO PAY MY RENT UP UNTIL MAY 2021. IN MAY I APPLIED FOR RENTAL ASSISTANCE BUT WHILE WAITING FOR THE APPROVAL, I DECIDED TO MOVE. I RECENTLY SEEN ON MY CREDIT PROFILE I OWED THE COMMUNITY ******. ITS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO OWE THAT MUCH MONEY AND WHEN I DISCOVERED THIS, I WENT TO THE COMMUNITY FOR HELP. THE PROPERTY MANAGER AND TEAM WERE VERY NICE BUT UNHELPFUL. I WAS TOLD TO PROVIDE PROOF I PAID MY RENT FROM MY STATEMENTS, I DID, AND STILL NO ASSISTANCE. THE COMMUNITY CANNOT FIND ME IN THE SYSTEM, BUT WILL NOT HELP ME RECTIFY THE SITUATION. IM IN JEOPARDY OF LOSING A JOB AT THE SHERRIF'S OFFICE AND HAVE BEEN DRIVING TO THE COMMUNITY EVERYDAY FOR 2 WEEKS AND NOTHING.

    Good day, 

    Please be advised that we have been in communication with ******** ******. She made her first point of contact with us on September 24, 2024 and spoke with one of our team members. ******** explained she was trying to get information regarding her old apartment here at Horizons North from back in 2019 - 2021 due to recently finding out there was a very large balance owed on her credit report. She also stated she was in the process of trying to obtain a new job and this balance was causing her a delay in the job process. We asked if she had any information that could assist us in researching her concerns/account or any documents that showed that she paid the balance prior to moving out. In addition she stated that she applied for rental assistance due to the Covid Pandemic during that time but was unsure if any money was every paid by the organization and that she never had any communication from the assistance program regarding if the payment was ever made.

    We explained that there was a different management company in place at that time and that we had no records on file at the property from that time period. We tried to search our records while she while she was at the office and again explained that we were unable to locate any information from that time frame. We also let her know that we started managing the property in September of 2023 and those files would not have been provided to us because they were before our time. We advised her to go to the bank and request her statements that show her payments to Horizons North showing the last payments that were made prior to moving out. We also advised her to follow up with the program that she applied for assistance to see if they could provide any documentation showing payment was made. We asked her to check her email for any communication she may have received that may be helpful in resolving this matter. We offered to assist her with submitting any documentation she had that shows she paid her balance prior to moving out. ******** stated she was going to go to her bank as well as reach out to the organization she applied for assistance. 

    Upon returning ******** stated she still had not gone to the bank or reached out to the rental assistance program that she had applied with during that time. We asked her to please provide us with any documents that show proof of payment up until she moved out. We have not received any documents as of today to assist in showing what she believes is an accurate balance or that shows the account was paid in full. No documents have been provided. We want to do our best to assist ******** with resolving this matter as soon as possible. However, we need her assistance as well with providing us with any proof of payment she can provide.
