I purchased a new 2024 Ram 3500 (VIN *****************) from Aventura CJDR of *********** in February 2025. They are suppose to be taking care of all the Iowa Titling, registration and plate. To date, I have not received anything. They have issued me a third temp tag, now good through 5/30/25.I have contacted them about every two week and been told "they are working it or it might take up to 45 days or the problem is ****" to the latest - they have everything they need and you should receive everything before the current temp expires.I'm leaving to go to a horse show at *******, WI on the Wednesday the 21st and not getting home until June 2, which means the if the Iowa plate doesn't come before that, I'll be driving on an expired tag.I hope you investigate this and see what is in fact really going on.Respectfully submitted,******* H. ******* ************************************** ************Business Response

*******. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the significant inconvenience you have experienced regarding the titling and registration of your new Ram 3500. Aventura CJDR understands your frustration with the delays and the issuance of multiple temporary tags. The dealership has been in contact with the Iowa state authorities and they have confirmed receipt of all the necessary information required to process the vehicle's plates. They have indicated that the standard processing time for out-of-state titles and registrations is typically three to four weeks. Aventura CJDR is actively monitoring the progress of the application and will reach out immediately with an update as soon as the dealership receives notification that the plates have been issued. Aventura CJDR fully understands your concern about traveling with an expiring temporary tag and want to assure you that the dealership is doing everything within its capacity to expedite this process. Thank you for your patience as Aventura CJDR work to resolve this matter.Customer Answer

A week before April 13, 2025, I contacted Aventura Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram on ************************************** (*****) to request a car price deal for a 2024 Dodge Hornet. The salesperson named ******, which I have been speaking with up until now, called me on April 13, 2025, to offer me $28,500 out the door (dealership fees and taxes included), and I told him that I was going to call him back that Monday. I filled out an online form to get approved, they ran my credit and once I was approved, they claimed that the car that I wanted wasnt there anymore, and he gave me two other cars that were still available that I could pick from. I picked another Dodge Hornet, same year, with a VIN number of *****************, and then made a deposit of $1,000 for this car. They sent me an appointment for financing over the phone, and I told ****** that I was going to go Friday April 18, 2025, to sign the papers and give the rest of the moment to complete the downpayment and financing. Then, they told me that they tested the car and stated that the headlights didnt work. But not to worry, they claimed they were going to fix it. However, after more and more delays, he claimed that there was a recall for the headlights. We contacted Dodges corporate office to file a complaint (case number ********), and they said that they have no knowledge of a recall for headlights. I was going to go down that Friday to pick it up, but ****** stated that the headlights werent fixed. It is now April 30, 2025, and the headlights are supposedly still not fixed. I even offered to bring the car here to my local Dodge dealership to get the car repaired. But now they claim that theyre returning the car to the factory and want me to switch to a 2023 Dodge Hornet---a full year older---for the same amount (no discounts offered). However, the very same car I paid for is still on their dealer website offered for sale as of April 30, 2025. To me, this all appears to be misrepresentation and fraud.Business Response

As ***** ********** has stated, the vehicle she was going to purchase has an issue with the headlights but it was not recall related. As it turns out, the vehicle came from the factory missing two wires from the wiring harness to the headlights. In order to correct the issue, Aventura CJDR has to install a new wiring harness. The issue is that the factory currently has no wiring harnesses available in stock and the dealership has been waiting for the factory to ship one as soon as one becomes available. As of right now, there is no ETA available for the wiring harness. Aventura CJDR completely understands ******* frustration with this situation, however it is completely out of the control of the dealership. Aventura CJDR has already communicated to Janet by phone that the dealership would be more than happy to return her deposit if she is no longer interested in purchasing the vehicle. Unfortunately those are the only options at this time.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: they misled me with the information they provided me with. When the time came for me to pick up the car, they claimed that they couldnt give me the car because the headlights were not functional due to a recall. And now, theyre saying that it was never recall related. However, they knew about the problem 35 days before they sold me the car, and this was not mentioned to me until after the purchase. They stated in writing that they could not deliver the car to me because they couldnt fix the headlight problem, and that they were going send the car itself to the factory. As stated in their response, they contradict themselves and mention requesting parts from the factory rather than sending the car back, as they told me. Furthermore, we reached out to ****** Dodge, the biggest Dodge dealership in the country, and they told us that they could get the missing part to us in one business day (Monday). As you can see in their response, they state that theres no ETA for this part, which contradicts the information we found out ourselves. After running my credit and approving the financing and selling me the car, as well as waiting two weeks, obviously we do not want a refund but rather the vehicle delivered as promised. I made it clear that I was willing to wait for the repair. However, theyve been misrepresenting whats actually happening with the car. Weve left numerous messages to the general manager and never got a response. I have documents to back up all communications with ******, their sales representative.
Sincerely,
***** **********Business Response

It is not the position of Aventura CJDR that no one was aware of an issue with the headlights. The dealership did not know it would be very difficult to get the part needed. The information ***** ********** received about part availability is incorrect. ***** can contact ***** directly and inquire about the part availability. Aventura CJDR has no reason to postpone the sale of a vehicle. The dealership wants to sell vehicles as quickly as possible. As previously stated, Aventura CJDR will have the vehicle ready as soon as the part becomes available but should ***** choose to get her deposit back instead; the dealership is happy to refund her at any time. Thank you in advance for your patience.Customer Answer

Complaint: 23270654
I am rejecting this response because we contacted Ariggo Dodge who contacted Mopar and verified the part Aventura Dodge claims they need is available and could be shipped out in 1-2 business if requested. The only reason Aventura does.t have the part is because they have not requested it. Furthermore, ****** the salesman claimed in one of his texts that they had made a decision not to repair the car but instead return it to the factory, only to come back and contradict himself a few days later saying they were still waiting for the part. He also said the car would be repaired within a week and now he is saying that they have no Idea when it will be fixed. Ariggo Dodge said they could repair they car in a few days if it was brought to them but Aventura refuses to release it. We are still waiting for the car to be delivered, as they ran my credit, took my deposit, got a loan approved through ************************ and yet they continue to advertise the same car on their website for sale at a lower price than we purchased it for. We also never got any returned calls from their General Manager, Mr. ***** or their sales manager despite leaving numerous messages.

Complaint: 23270654
I am rejecting this response because, a few days ago the salesman, ******, texted the vehicle was finally repaired and ready to go. After reviewing the invoice, we noticed several items and fees were added that we had not agreed upon. The additional charges amounted to about $ 3000, including $ 699 for Lojack and $ 299 for window etching, (never disclosed or authorized) $ 650 for "priority delivery", $ 450 additional sales tax on unapproved dealer installed packages and other previously undisclosed fees. We asked that they remove these items and charges and were waiting for their response. Now as you can see, the Sales Manager is once again claiming the vehicle has not or cannot be repaired! The same car is still, as of 5/21/25, being offered for sale at $21'069 on their website! This is false and deceptive advertising, and they have dealt in bad faith from day one.

i was completing a repair with the jeep dealer and they advised they would be responsible to pay for my rental until my vehicle was repaired. I was transported from the dealership to enterprise on September 23, 2024. The jeep dealership has failed to pay my rental and I have a balance of $725.07. I contact Jeep and they keep giving me the run around and saying they are having issues with there accounting. I have emailed the general manager and service manager and have failed to receive a response. I have contacted enterprise and they informed me they are still trying to collect the money from jeep and they are several months behind on payments.Business Response

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership on December 28, 2024. The purchase was finalized remotely. The vehicle was delivered to me with one car key. The sales associate that I purchased the vehicle from also delivered the vehicle. He apologized for only having a single key with him and promised he would have the dealership express maili the second key to me. I never received said key. I followed up multi times. The first few times, the dealership stated my key was on its way. Its been over 3 months now and I am unable to get even a supervisor to return my call. Reviews for this business reflect prior clients have the same exact issue. I purchased this vehicle with two keys and I want the business to deliver the second key to me.Business Response

Consumer Warning: Aventura Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Breach of ********************* Practices I want to warn potential buyers about my unacceptable experience purchasing a truck from Aventura Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in ***********, **. The dealership engaged in deceptive and negligent business practices that may constitute a breach of contract and bad faith dealing under Florida consumer protection laws.Issues Encountered:1.Failure to Provide Agreed-Upon Items The dealership mishandled my request for a new plate, initially transferring my old one and only issuing a new one after I insisted. They failed to provide the second key that was supposed to come with the *********************************** Promises oSales representative **** assured me the missing key would be delivered the next daythis promise was never honored. The commercial sales manager, *********, claimed the key would be shipped overnightanother false statement. They are stalling, saying it could take up to two weeks, despite another dealership confirming key replacement takes under an hour.3.Potential Fraudulent Intent Repeated delays suggest the dealership never intended to cover the missing key. They may attempt to charge the replacement to my insurance policy (purchased on 02/18/2025), which could constitute fraudulent misrepresentation and insurance manipulation.4.Lack of Accountability Despite multiple attempts, I have been unable to reach senior management.I left a voicemail for the general manager, ****** *******, with no response. On 02/19/2025, the service department confirmed no keys had been ordered yet.Their refusal to address my complaint indicates a pattern of negligence and deceptive trade practices prohibited under Florida law. Before doing business with them, potential customers should know about *********************** unethical practices.Business Response

Purchased a 2018 Dodge Charger from this dealership on January 5, 2025. At the end of the transaction, I was told that the dealership had an issue with the title from the previous owner so they were going to issue me a temporary tag instead of doing the transfer at the time of the deal. They said it would only take a few days. On January 8, 2025, I contacted the dealership about the vehicle registration/title and was told they would send the registration form via ***** overnight. On January 20, 2025, I was told by the *** that the vehicle was not registered and the plate transfer was not complete. I contacted the dealership again and they said they would take care of it. On January 28, 2025, I contacted the *** again to see what the status was. I was told that the vehicle registration had been submitted and voided five different times as of that date. I contacted the dealership again and was sent a different registration form via ***** overnight. As of today's date (2-19-25) the vehicle still is not registered and shows up as a "pending dealer transaction" on the ********* vehicle check. The dealership is telling me the issue is with the state, but the state is telling me the issue is with the dealership voiding the transactions. The only recourse I have at this point is to file a complaint with ****** against the dealership to get the registration and title that was paid for in January 2025. It is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE that this dealership took my money for the registration and title and still has NOT produced it to me as of 45 days after the sales transaction!! It appears to me that this dealership sold this vehicle to me without having a valid title, which is illegal! They need to be investigated on these illegal practices and shut down from conducting business by stealing from their customers. I just want the title and registration to the vehicle I bought from them! PLEASE help me with this!Business Response

January 27, 2025 purchased a new Jeep Compass from dealership. Upon delivery at scheduled time of 7 PM, we were told that the 2nd key, the owner's manual, and the Jeep all weather floor mats were locked in the service department and would be mailed out the following business day. Starting on Friday, January 31st I have called the salesperson every other day to receive a status on these items only to receive his voice mail. I have since emailed the General Manager the new vehicle sales manager and the finance team for assistance with getting these items mailed out to me. We purchased a new RAM truck on October 18, 2024 and have yet to receive Ohio license plates so we can drive the vehicle. The original 30-day tag expired adn we were e-mailed a second one on 11/25/24. That second tag expired and we still have no license plates. We were told that because we picked up the truck in ** and financed it at the dealership that they were the ones that needed to send the plates. It has now been 83 days and we have no temporary tag or permanent plates on the truck so cannot drive it. We have been promised numerous times that the plates would be shipped via overnight delivery.
