On December 30, 2021 I hired J-Home, LLC Renovation to remodel two bathrooms in ************ master and one guest bathroom. Mr. ***** ********** quoted me $14,024.00 itemized as follows (Master bathroom $4,000 master bathroom $1,200 master bedroom, shower glass door $970 and $4,000 guest bathroom and materials $3,000). During the time of consultation, Mr. ********** advised to commence demolition and project he reported that he needed $6,000. A check was written out to him please see attached (check number ****). Despite giving him the money on 12/30/21, Mr. ********** stated that he could not start work due to previous obligations until January 12, 2022. On January 12, 2022, he came to demolish the guest bathroom. The demolition of the bathroom took about two days. These days were non consecutive and varied at times. A week later Mr. ********** and his company began working on the renovation. He first worked on the plumbing and then worked on putting on sheetrock. On February 10, 2022 work in bathroom was partially completed (tub, tile flooring, vanity installation) not completing mirror or placing spout in tube for water to come out. ********************** reached out to me and requested additional $4,000 to complete the guest bathroom ( 2/10/22 check number ****). On February 11, 2022 ********************* stated that he needed the remainder balance to complete the job. He reported that $10,000 was not enough to complete the job. I refused to give additional money given that I had given $10,000 for the remodel. Afterwards I called the owner to see if he would finish putting the water spout for the tub and mirror for the vanity he did not answers calls or text. On February 28, 2022 and April 13, 2022 sent a text to inquire about work he had not responded. As of today May 26, 2022, Mr. ********** had never completed work nor gave a targeted date for completion. He has not started work on either the master bathroom, flooring in the master suite, and guest bathroom is 3/4 done.
