    On October 15, 2021 I took my 2004 Ford Expedition to American Auto and Tire to be looked at regarding an issue with my AC. The mechanic stated I needed a whole new A/C kit. Due to the fact that they were trying to charge me 2 1/2 times more then what the part actually costed I asked them if I bought the part brand new if they would install it, and the service manager stated they would, labor price would be $400 (what they quoted me) . I purchased the brand new part and made an appointment with American Auto for install. On Thursday morning, December 16th, 2021 I brought my truck in to have the AC system replaced. Upon starting the job I requested that the mechanic please give me a call - which no one ever did. Tuesday morning I never received a call stating my car was done and ready for pick up so I walked up to the establishment to find out that supposedly my car was "done and ready". The establishment did not give me my car keys until after I paid. Upon paying, the bill was $150 more then they originally quoted because they had to fill up the free-on which should of been included in the original (scope of work never changed). I paid the $590.00 full bill to replace A/C system. Shortly after I noticed the A/C was not blowing out of the vents it was only blowing out of the defrost only. When I brought them my car it was blowing cool out of the vents and did not have any problems with the A/C functionality inside the car. I tried changing the A/C controls on the panel and nothing was working. My rear car A/C was also not blowing cold like it should of it was blowing hot ! I instantly went back up to the shop Bay where I was not acknowledged and asked someone to please take a look at my car. Don "service manager" proceeded to tell me no one would be coming out to look at my car because all they did was install my parts and they were not responsible for anything. My car had no problems with blowing A/C properly until this place touched my car.
