  My son was enrolled into a Professional pilot course, and quoted $18,000 for the Instrument segment of the course. A ****** *** loan was installed for $82,000 which was intended to cover cost of not only Instrument segment, but also the following segments of Commercial, CFI, CFII, Multi engine amongst others.They set up a system failing Mitvaa for almost every activity three times so they could charge him thrice. This resulted in them enriching themselves fraudulently, citing ******'s inability to satisfactorily clear the activity. Their Instructors have stated that if he was a "Fixed cost" student, they would have signed him off in first attempt.He has exhausted his loan amount to the tune of $65000, leaving him not enough to complete the remainder of course. This is found to be increasinly common tactic of this flight academy.

  Epic Flight Academy allows flights, to repetitively circle our property and nearby neighborhood on a daily basis, causing extreme irritation from the noise. I have contacted the Airport Managers, and even the FAA. The planes usually go nowhere near their destination, but instead encircle our area over and over again. ************ Academy planes do the same thing. We are so tempted to sell our home, as we are extremely fed up with these constant flights over our home. Today, at approximately 1:45 pm., flight******* was a good example of the circling over our property. Epic Flight academy planes also often fly at very low altitudes, similar to a crop duster. We can't even enjoy our own property, due to this constant intrusion. Can you help? Thank you, in advance, for your assistance.

We comply with all state and federal laws, including FAA regulations, while operating our aircraft. Additionally, we do not believe we have conducted any actual business with this complainant. Because of this, we would like to ask this complaint be removed from our record. Consumer Response /* (3000, 14, 2022/04/13) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) This business, Epic Academy, has representatives, who met with the FAA representative, the Airport Managers of Daytona Beach and New Smyrna Beach and reported to me that they have agreed to ensure that their pilots "Avoid" our area. Unfortunately, their pilots do not comply with this agreement. They continue to fly over our property on a daily basis and I have emailed them their tracking information showing the fly-over. In fact, flight ****** just flew over us at approximately 6:15 pm today, 4/13/22. I have not purchased anything from this company, yet have had to deal with them on a daily basis. New guidelines and enforcement of rules should be establised. Thank you. ************** Business Response /* (4000, 16, 2022/04/27) */ After reviewing the information collected from the on-board flight data recording system installed in the aircraft mentioned in the last response, Epic found that on the date and time in question, the aircraft was several thousands of feet above the FAA required altitude for the area, and was in no way in violation of any federal regulations.
