    This review was the first step suggested by the Better Business Bureau. My wife used Roman Plumbing's services to fix the toilet's shut-off valve that had broke as I was on my way out the door to work. I told her that as the plumber was already coming out, to also have them fix the fill valve which was also beginning to cause trouble. Never in a million years did I expect her to tell me the bill came to $691.00. Parts cost less than $100.00 and about two hours labor involved. The shut-off valve needed to be addressed immediately as it was dripping water. The fill valve was something I could have handled myself. A comparable toilet new costs $169.00. That was never even offered as a solution. I believe this company took advantage of my wife's ignorance as to what it should cost to fix a toilet. Many knowledgeable people agree this job shouldn't have cost more than $400.00.
