We feel terrible any time a deal fall through; unfortunately, the ultimate authority on whether a loan will be approved or not, lies with the lender. When a trade is misrepresented as having been paid-off, only for us to discover that there was a significant balance owed, we were unable to overcome the adjusted figures with the bank. We wish you the very best in your search for a new vehicle, even if it's not from us. Thank you for the opportunity, and have a very blessed day.

1 starSeveral years ago I co-signed on a vehicle for a friend. We made a point to make sure my information was only to be used for the financing company, and I was assured I would never receive communications from the dealership. Flash forward to *************************************************** every case, I would click the button to unsubscribe, respond and demand they stop contacting me, I even started emailing management, none of whom replied. I'm filing a report with the **** and placing this review everywhere humanly possible. I have been dealing with spam from these people for three years now, always from different sales people who are clearly taught to poach from the list of people who have been associated with a vehicle sale. Here is the list of the times and names of the people who have reached out to me:03/21/2021 - ***************************** 03/30/2021 - ***************************** 05/05/2021 - ***************************** 05/31/2021 - ***************************** 04/29/2023 - ********************* 05/01/2023 - ********************* 05/02/2023 - ********************* 05/06/2023 - ********************* 05/30/2023 - ******************************* 08/15/2023 - ******************************* 12/02/2023 - ***************** 03/04/2024 - ******************* 08/06/2024 - ************************* 09/09/2024 - ******************* I have responded to every single email demanding that they leave me alone and remove me from their list. Based on the ***'s CAN-SPAM act guidelines, each offense that violates the law may carry a penalty of up to $51,744. I will be filing a separate report with the *** with every single communication received.Maus Nissan of New Port Richey

Aaron, I am glad that I had the opportunity to correspond with you regarding this matter, and that we have all agreed on how to move forward. As I stated before, I've worked for this company for over 12 years and we all take customer concerns like this to heart. When I say I do something, I do it because I care. I will assure you, that unless you initiate the activity, (i.e. vehicle inquiry, service work, parts request, etc.), you will not be contacted. Should you receive a call, text or email from us, contact me, and I will personally make sure the party who did reach out to you will be terminated. With that said, it’s my commitment and promise that we have cleansed our CRM, DMS(data management system) and data mining solutions, of your phone number and email address. Again, should you need anything, please let me know via call, text, or email. Please note that since you did open this BBB review, and others, that we are required to respond to them, and you will be receiving emails regarding those responses, so please don’t take that as marketing or harassment.

1 starD. K. In February of this year (2024) I purchased a used car from Maus Nissan of New Port Richey Fl. Financed through a xxxxx credit union. after receiving 2 letters from 2 different finance companies explaining they couldn't finance the vehicle because the amount of the loan was more than the estimated value of the vehicle which was around $12,000. I started checking through the paperwork and saw that the total sale price of the vehicle was just shy of $20.000. This was for 2014 vehicle with ****** miles on it and not only that it was and still is in need of a paint job and the stereo only partially works. Then I received a phone call from xxxxx credit union explaining about my savings account with them. I explained I don't have a savings account with them. Then I was told that Maus Nissan opened a savings account in my name as they couldn't finance the vehicle unless I had an account with them. This was never verbally explained to me or I would have not gone through with the purchase. Although I'm sure there was a document in the many many papers I signed probably stating this. My fault for not actually reading all the paperwork but there was too much to read everything. I paid them $7,000 dollars down. I realize that there was a finance charge of approximately $3,000 dollars. If I would have noticed the total sale price of the vehicle I would have stopped the sale if I could have. I feel they took advantage of a senior citizen because my other car was totaled in an accident and I needed a car and the rental car had to be returned that day. I realize there's nothing I can do now except to hopefully prevent this from happening to someone else. I wish I would have read their business profile before purchasing from them. Notice that they have no rebuttal to any thing that i said so they agree that they ripped me off and that they did everything i said . Its not my fault that they have incompetent staff that are rude and dont take accountability for anything they do the customer should not have to pay for negligence. No worries i will seek an attorney to take my case .Review fromVerny V

************************, we can see that you are upset, and apologize if you've had a bad experience. Everything the adds say we can do, we can do; however, there are details and disclaimers that have to be taken into consideration, and the banks have the final say when it comes to lending decisions. Unfortunately, not everyone will qualify. Despite this, we may still be able to help you: we work with a company that specializes in assisting people rebuild their credit, 'Fierce Credit.' The service is free, but you will have to pay for any credit report pulls. There is no obligation at the end, this is just for good will. If you would like to discuss this further, please contact me directly. Thank you, and have a blessed day.

1 starAll they do is lie, cheat and steal. And I can say that because it was first hand by maus Nissan. They took a vantage of me. I confronted them for this matter they escalate it the matter he gave me a $500 gift card from Mossy Nissan. we haven’t had a reason to use the gift card which is roughly 5 years old which has no expiration date and they told me that they switched their machines out and that I couldn’t use it. There’s $400 left on it and they’re trying to screw me out of it, then they told me I needed to have an oil change and my tires rotated which was included in this $8000 for their service Maas customer care Customer Care and they told me I needed to have my tires balanced which my car is eight months old. This is my first oil change with the company when I called around to other Nissan dealerships, I was told I didn’t need that the tires balanced, unless I was having an issue which there was no issues, so I’m still waiting to find out about my my gift card. And I didn’t learn the first time I went back and bought a 2023 platinum pathfinder and I was supposed to get $1000 gift card well guess what they never gave me that either all they do is screw people around and they claim that they are Christian .Maus Nissan of New Port Richey

Mrs. L, I appreciate the opportunity to speak with you today, and getting the chance address your concerns. Please know that no one you've dealt with was ever trying to lie, cheat, or steal from you, but after 8 years, that card has been completely out of circulation, and no one you worked with in the Service Department recently even knew that the card ever existed. Our newer systems can not physically read the card; however, the email you sent me, forwarded from 2016, confirms the gift-card sent to you, so I will work with our Accounting Department to find a way to make things right. I will be in touch shortly, but please let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you, and have a blessed day.

1 starI went in for a repair and was told that for 295 dollars I could get it done and the man wrote down 295/ in very illegible handwriting. He said that when the car was ready and it was time for payment to come back.I came to pick up my car. I got charged $2951 and was very confused. I asked a sales manager why I was being charged 10x the price we agreed on. He said that he would check the security cameras and I said I was sure that I was told $295, I even repeated it. He said the audio was unclear and it was a mistake on our part. He then said there was nothing he could do and if I did not pay the full price within 3 days I would be charged 50$ every day I did not pay the price. I repeated that my car was barely worth $2951 and that I have been scammed and manipulated in to paying $3000 for a minor repair. He then said he could "do me a favor" and not charge me 3000$ if I BOUGHT A NEW CAR FROM THEM. I said I could not afford paying thousands to buy a new car because i was manipulated.I just want to stress that I repeated that this will cost $295 to the original salesman he agreed.Maus Nissan of New Port Richey

**************, we can see that you are upset, and empathize with you for your misunderstanding, but we were very clear about the quote. We have reached out, and our management has gone over this issue with you, with your paperwork, several times. We explained to you that your vehicle's AC system was not functioning because it needed a new evaporator. We quoted you an OEM evaporator case for $3643, and offered you the option of an after-market evaporator core replacement, instead, and after a $500+ discount, the core replacement would only cost $2591. You circled and initialed the $2591 quote. We even covered your $148 rental charge, so that you could have free transportation while the repair was being completed. This is not a scam, it is what the cost of the repair is, it was disclosed to you, and you signed for it. After the work was completed, and you were surprised by the bill, we offered to put the cost of repair towards your vehicle if you traded it in, so that you wouldn't have that out-of-pocket expense, but only as a last resort, not a manipulation. We would be happy to provide the written estimate and your initialed approval for review. If you have any other questions, we'd be happy to speak with you. Have a blessed day.
