      *** and his company came referred as I put trust he would do us right, but he failed us big time; especially towards the end when we were getting close to closing with lender and builder. *** is real good telling you what you want to hear, but when it came time to do what he was paid to do (nearly $500) he rushed thru the inspection (was on site maybe 70 min total) and did not actually inspect various sections listed on the website under "Structure". For example, *** was supposed to inspect surface drainage and grading and he flat out did not do that. He missed quite a big grading issue we noticed shortly thereafter. When I tried to inquire and hold him accountable, he was full of excuses, blamed the sunny weather that day, and then wanted me to sign a NDA in order to get a refund. All I wanted was him to own up to his error(s) and come back out and re-look at the grading and he refused. Sorry ***, I'd rather make it known with the community and everyone and share the truth of my experience than get a refund and be legally silenced by you. The only "pro" I would say is *** is good at turning around the inspection report, but what good is that if he doesn't actually inspect what he should? I can't speak to how he does regular or older home inspections, but he seems to have found a niche doing a sub-par job on new builds and not doing his due diligence or what he and his company are supposed to do while he pockets your money and uses the excuse "You just picked a good builder" while he shirks his duties and makes excuses. In my humble opinion, I would NOT refer him ever again and also want to point out that we believe we have a legal case based on *************** his duties with regards to our grading and drainage issue, If not corrected in the near future by the builder, we will be seeking compensation because when we hire and pay someone to "inspect" and do their job, we expect they will actually do just that.
