              I purchased what I was told by the front desk at my local Zoom Tan store a one month spray tan. I wasnt told that it was a MONTHLY recurring payment that I had to cancel online or they would continuously charge my credit card $49 every single month without ever telling me. Zoom Tan NEVER notified me when they charged my account, even though they have multiple ways of contacting me and text me randomly about deals. I think it is extremely horrendous business practice to intentionally charge peoples credit cards without their knowledge, without ever intending to notify them (because they simply want their money). This is a very sleezy business practice, and I deserve my $343 back. Its so sad this business is getting away with this. When I talked to customer service tonight, the lady said that there was one person that ***** noticed on her bank statements that Zoom Tan had been charging her every month for 4 years. Shame on them. This needs to stop.

              I spray tanned at Copper Tan for 15 years and never had any issues. It’s now owned by Zoom Tan. They sent out text specials which states $19.99 for a month of Sunless tanning or $9.99 for a month of tans. Nowhere on the text does it say that you are signing up for a $49.99 monthly membership. I went in to zoom in Wellington showed the girl, Savannah who was extremely rude and had no customer service skills whatsoever the text and told her I would like to do $19.99 for this month and save my spray tans that I have already on file. She says ok tells me she charges me the $19.99 and goes to clean the tanning booth. As she’s cleaning the booth I get a text saying that I just signed up for a $49.99 monthly membership package. When she comes back I tell her I in fact did not sign up for a membership she starts arguing and giving me an attitude. I tell her just to cancel it as I had no prior knowledge to it and she refused to cancel. Corporate will not do anything about it either. I will not be going back here.
