On September 19, 2023 I had a service call to fix my bathroom faucet, that had extremely slow water flow and few other minor things around my house. Since I have a concern about Covid-19, I specifically requested a dispatcher for plumber to wear a face mask. She told me he would. In the appointment time two men shown up without mask and had no idea about my prior request. I had to give them my spare masks I had in the house. One of them explained to me that he was a student and was working under supervision of another guy. I was unpleasantly surprised they brought a student plumber to work on my property without my prior approval. The student started trying to disconnect my defective faucet and obviously has problem with that. I left a bathroom not to watch all those. Later they said they have not have some materials in they track and have to come back to the office to pick them up (another bad sign). They came back after about one hour or so and worked in my bathroom again. After some time the student called me and explained he broken my O-ring in my faucet and my water flow is now extremely high. Another guy in the same time adjusted hot water heater temperature, tightened my shower handle and put some grout around a powder bath toilet as I asked him to do. It took him about 15 minutes or less. I repeatedly asked him to price those minor jobs upfront, but he just replied, he did not know that and office would contact me. He just priced faucet and waste water pipes repairs in the same sink as $350. After they left I discovered that the hot water flow now was dangerously high, but cold water flow was extremely slow as it was before their arrival. In few days I received a bill for $875. It was $350 for faucet and pipes repair, as the guy estimated and another $525 repeatedly undisclosed charge for 15 minutes minor jobs. I contacted the company and complained multiple times. Nothing worked. They tried to threatened me and eventually charged my credit card for $892.50.
