Based on my insurance company's approved estimate for installation of an aftermarket part with only $250 insurance policy deductible.It is unreasonable, not to mention unethical, and definitely not legal for you, at your own discretion, to proceed differently than what was discussed and approved. You were dishonest with the estimated copy myself & to the insurance company.You understood the approval from my insurance company for approved coverage of repair installation using AFTERMARKET PARTS and did not inform them of your policy? Shouldn't your team provide a disclaimer or inform with complete honesty that it is standard practice for your business to ONLY install ORIGINAL PARTS but not AFTERMARKET PARTS?This information should be provided in writing /clearly at the beginning, PRIOR to the START of service repair, not at the end of service.This is a fraudulent bait & switch tactic used by your business to take advantage of the gap of knowledge grey area to gain more profit unjustly from uninformed consumers.3) There was miscommunication or misunderstanding between you and the insurance company.
