My name is ***********************. I am the homeowner located in **************. I entered into a contract with a General Contractor named ******* ********************** to which a deposit was provided on 04/19/2022 for the amount of $5,500. On 06/16/2022 another deposit was provided in the amount of $ ******** and on 08/17/2022 another deposit was provided in the amount of $5,000.00 This was done because originally, I was only able to secure a 40K loan. My monthly payment on such loan is for the amount of ******* every single month. Its like paying for a service not rendered. Apart from the deposits various material where purchased for the project. Tile floors and Tile walls for the bathroom in the amount of ****** which are currently under a shed probably damaged with the rain and sun. Laminated Wood flooring to cover the bedroom in the amount of ******** which is in the middle of my current living room. Please keep in mind my house is only 897 sq ft. and its just unbearable. Windows in the amount of $1,750.29 are in the possession of Mr. ********************** as its impossible for me to house them in my property. The roofing company mandated a deposit of ******** which was paid for by me the homeowner. As you can see there is more than just the deposit to the ** thats being in jeopardy. Apparently, the ** hired an Architect that has not provided proper seals from day1. At this point this is causing legal languishments as the intention of the addition was to provide comparable housing for my daughter in comparison to what her father can provide. This situation has not even taken into to consideration its been going on two years and nothing has been done. I need to get this job completed and i can no longer await a resolution with the architect. Hiring the architect was not my doing and i should not continue to be penalized.
