This company was removing a tree on my property using a crane truck and severely damaged my property due to neglect and they are not providing me with their insurance information to file a claim for property damage.I have the entire HD video footage of the crane causing the damage available.

    Business Response

    Date: 11/02/2022

We were dispatched by an agency that sends emergency tree crews to disaster sites. After Hurricane ***, we were sent to ********************** home to give him an assessment and estimate to remove a large fallen Pine tree from his home and shed. It was our understanding that the already severely damaged structure was covered by ********************** homeowner's policy, per my multiple conversations with him, as well as his written authorization to complete the work, removing the tree from the shed and home. While removing the tree from the roof and shed, the front face of the shed came the rest of the way off. It was already severely damaged by the hurricane, and mostly already detached and damaged from the shed by the tree/hurricane before we removed the tree. Our crane caused no damage to any of his structures, and we were not neglectful in our work. Safety and preventing further damage are of the utmost importance to our company. Unfortunately, the shed was already severely damaged by the tree falling on it during the hurricane.
After the job was completed, ****************** disclosed that the shed was not covered by his insurance policy, and that's when he requested insurance information because he was submitting a claim against us to pay for his shed, claiming that we caused the damage to the shed, which I requested to my insurance company be sent to him directly. Our insurance company is dilligently attending to this matter.
