    This company emailed me with a MYFLORIDA... email that looked official on April 3rd ********************************* compliance with beneficial Information reporting and that it was urgent that I report without delay or I could be jailed for 2 years. This company didn't inform me on email that as of March 26, 2025 that US citizens with businesses in *** do not need to file. I called the number listed on the email and a message comes on that states that the Beneficial filing is mandatory as of FEB 2025 to avoid fines. They had a button tab on email that states start filing and directly below it it states URGENT file without delay to stay compliant. It is misleading because it used fear to force you to file unnecessarily and to scam you out of $129.00 at end of filing and also because you think that you are at the very end of the page and then there is a gap of white space and unless you scroll all the way down to very end of page you will not realize their disclosure that they aren't a ******************** Their business is listed 2 ways on the email as: MY FLORIDA CORPORATE FILINGS(without the *** behind it - on logo only and also they used the name MY Florida CORPFILINGS typed out as name of company with address, email and ph# and website . I looked them up on BBB site and I only see a company that is called MY FLORIDA CORPORATE FILINGS LLC in *******, ** (NOT MIAMI as Listed on Email) and BBB states that they are not an accredited BBB business and have several complaints) It appears there is NO company called MY FLORIDA CORPFILINGS in ***** listed on BBB. I supplied mine and my husband's Driver Licenses and addresses and date of birth and addresses and phone number and email to them on the form before I discovered it was a scam. This is a scam company in my opinion trying to steal personal info and scam people out of money and potentially steal everything. PLEASE INVESTIGATE< PROSECUTE AND SHUT THEM DOWN IF NECCESSARY. PLEASE STOP THEIR SCAM.Thank you.

    Hello, respectfully, our emails sent after the March 21st court decision have reflected the updated guidance: that companies which are still subject to the remaining Beneficial Ownership Information reporting requirements may be in violation if they fail to file.

    We make clear on our website, in our emails, and through our phone system that we are not affiliated with, nor endorsed by, any government agency. Additionally, for those who no longer wish to receive communication from us, we include an unsubscribe option at the bottom of each email and encourage its use so we may promptly honor the request.

    I've received 7 emails from this fraudulent company - none of which I signed up for. Their spammy emails are attempting to scare me into hiring them to file a "required" BOI. The *** is no longer required, and their business tactics should be illegal. I even responded to one of their fraud emails but never got a response.

    We do not send spam and comply with all marketing laws, including the CAN-SPAM Act. Our emails include a clear unsubscribe link, and we promptly honor all opt-out requests.

    Our emails aim to inform businesses about *** filing requirements under the Corporate Transparency Act, which remains in effect. We do not use scare tactics, and all messaging reflects current legal guidance at the time of sending.

    I am rejecting this response because: CAN-SPAM requires the user to opt in. I never opted in to anything from your business. Further, the *** requirements are optional. Even in your BBB response, you lied. This is a very illegitimate way to do business.

    They misrepresent their service as the government agency enforcing *** reports including penalty notices that they are not enforcing therefore deceitfully instilling fear in the consumers they mass email. They take advantage of legal loopholes to charge for a service that is offered free of cost on the government agencys online portal. I was charged $518 for a service that I only had to pay about $150 to the actual government for. This is a scam!

    I received an email from this business today with deceptive marketing that mimicked the governments website for filing Beneficial Ownership Information. I completed the website forms and provided personal identifying information that was uploaded prior to disclosure that this was not the government filing website. I am concerned about their use of my personal information and my business information in the future.

    Our emails, website, and phone IVR all clearly state that we are a third-party service provider, independent of any government agency. At no point do we misrepresent our identity or affiliation. We are transparent about our role and services throughout the entire user experience.

    Additionally, we are glad that the customer realized this before making any payment. We also want to reassure them that unless a transaction is finalized, any entered data is automatically discarded and not retained for future use.

    An email was sent to me stating I needed to file a BOIR form. I was charged $500. I later found out this was unnecessary and I had been scammed.

    After reviewing the situation, we found that the customer received an email advising them to file a BOIR form, for which they were charged $500. Unfortunately, the customer later discovered that this step was unnecessary and suspected it to be a scam.

    To address their concerns, I personally reached out to the customer to explain that we are a legitimate company, not a scam, and reassured them that we are happy to issue a refund. During our conversation, the customer was with their children, so we agreed to reconnect at 3:45 PM at their convenience to go over the refund request process. The customer expressed satisfaction with this arrangement, and we are committed to ensuring a smooth resolution.

    I own an LLC and I received an email from this company that mimicked being from a state agency or government agency. I wasn't paying attention and I was in a hurry. I clicked the link in the email and starting a filing where I had to upload my driver's license. As soon as I did, the site asked for a $500 filling fee (which is free to file through the real government agency's website). I also couldn't go back and delete the copy of my driver's ********** they basically collected my driver's license info without my consent. Who knows how that's going to be used. There's no way to take it back. Scammers!!! I'm not concerned about my identity being stolen.Also, the email they sent me was unsolicited marketing email. I never gave them my email.

    This company sent an email to fill out the *** report that looked official. There was no warning that this was a third-party provider and asked for my personal information which I submitted including personal address and I uploaded form of identitication (copy of driver's license). However, I am unable to delete this information from their website and I don't want them to have this information and copy of my license due to fear of identity theft.

    I am rejecting this response because: I am requesting that my uploaded information be deleted. I did not pay the fee as this was requested after I had already uploaded my personal information. I do not want my information stored by them. 

    It was difficult to see that they do in fact state they are a third party. This important information should be made in a larger font and in a different color to the surrounding text as to warn individuals about what they do. They dont was small and at the end of the email- Im sure many individuals dont realize they should read that part of the email. They should have a warning stating their true intentions- that they are a third party provider not related to the government agency.

    I received an email from this company, thinking it was a government email. This company threatened that I would be charged $500 for not filing BOI. I paid to file my BOI, then realized they were not a government website and I contacted them to complain about them misleading me and ripping me off. The person I spoke to on the phone said that it is my fault that happened because they did not hold a gun to my head. I feel anyone that was mislead and paid this should be refunded immediately and this business should be shut down! They are charging $500 to file BOI which should be free. This is also being appealed and they are not offering any type of resolution to those who paid this contested fee.

    I am rejecting this response because: 

    Upon discovering that the form I submitted could be filed without any fee, I immediately contacted your company to request a refund. I was not aware that your organization is a third-party service collecting a substantial fee for document submission. This lack of transparency has left me feeling misled and taken advantage of.
    When I called, I spoke to a representative who became defensive during the conversation and failed to provide any resolution or offer a refund. I have attached proof of our phone call, which lasted approximately two minutes, for your reference. I ended the call by clearly stating my intent to file a complaint, as I felt scammed and ripped off by the situation.
    I kindly request that you review this matter and issue a full refund for the $500 fee. The lack of upfront disclosure regarding the nature of your service and associated fees is unacceptable, and I believe a refund is warranted under these circumstances.

    I received a scam email where I thought it was from the state of Florida. This was to file the required BOI. I filled out the information. At the end it had me put in a credit card without knowing how much would be charged. They charged me $499 to file a BOI that is free to file. Scam. I have turned them into the ** as well. I want my money back.

    My Florida corporate filings business sends me an email to file ***. They were not upfront about being a private entity but were pretending to be a government accredited doing so, they took my personal informal information without respect for privacy. I already file through the State and it was free. When they asked to $499. I closed everything but they have my Beneficial Ownership information Report (BOIR) with all my personal information and driver license. Kindly delete my personal information and attachments.
