Worst staff, organization and management ever! Please avoid if possible. The doctors are OK in the sense they resolved my moms problem and condition. But dealing with them is a real nightmare. From not sending the papers from one office to another, having you to confirm your appointment the day just before for you to arrive on time just to tell you after waiting one hourthat you cannot be seen because your referral expired. And the last one was one of their assistant-nurses walking through the hall with a potato chips bag, among the patients waiting to be seen from which many were asking her whatever type of questions to which she was answering with food in her mouth, and when I told her that she looked unprofessional she not only offended me, she kind of wanted to hit me. Horrible experience!

The front desk staff is RUDE and picks fights with patients. I scheduled an appointment a month ahead and the receptionist called me THE DAY BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT and AN HOUR BEFORE THEY CLOSE to let me know that my appointment had been canceled (left a voicemail). WHY did she wait for the day before my appointment to make me aware of this issue?! I called the number the morning after 8 times! No answer. I looked up the location, found a different number, and called them to explain everything. 2 separate assoc at 2 separate times told me I was good to go to my appointment. I drive an hour to the office at ************************** and am immediately greeted with attitude from the receptionist (Older Latin lady with braces). I give her my name and she chuckles! She asks me if I heard the vm and I explain to her that I did and got it sorted out over the phone. At this point, she is taking a defensive stance and practically blaming me for coming when my appointment was "canceled". She did not even care to listen about the fact that 2 assoc told me it was still okay to come because I had a referral. How is it my fault you don't have better communication with your phone staff and they don't have all the correct information? This experience had me at a loss for words. How did I get from coming to an appointment to being yelled at by the first ****** I encountered?! Vulgar and condescending lady, I CANT believe that AE Assoc and Doctors have these people in a client-facing position for their business. Everyone at this medoffice just stood there and watched as if it were normal?! They are RUINING the brand reputation of the doctors and this business through something as basic as CUSTOMER SERVICE. NO reason to get worked up and act out of character toward patients, THIS IS A DOCTORS OFFICE! If only the receptionist had taken the time to kindly explain what was happening and find a solution. I will be going to a REAL doctors office that is positive and doesn't lack professionalism.

In ARAM are rude. And they let you know. From the front desk to the specialists. They don't care about the patients at all... as the other patient says it is an assembly line, but I think maybe something worse... like making hamburgers, we are between two buns. They don't care how many hours you wait...they also don't tell you if the glaucoma specialist left the company as my doctor and if there is no one else anyone can see you, they don't tell you anything...you arrive for the visit and they find you with a stranger, you don't know & what is her specialty and in addtion he doesn't even introduce himself, he doesn't greet you, She ignores ME absolutely. If ignoring is abuse, in ARAN they mistreat us. The "specialist" *************** did not speak to me, she did not speak to me !!!, she made some notes and left without saying anything. She was obviously in a hurry. And he was not interested in my Glaucoma problem. Decadents...REALY BAD SERVICE

The worst. Dont trust your eyes to them! They run the office like an ************** assembly line. Keeping 20 - 30 patients in various rooms in the complex at one time. That was the first red flag. No one answers any phones at any of their offices. Number two red flag of many to come. First of all I was at ARAN EYE Institute (one of several names they go under). I was there for double vision, Diplopia. As soon as they saw the Optom wrote cataract with the double vision diagnosis, cha-ching! All attention was forever placed on catarat surgery for both eyes. Well, they did the wrong eye first. That was a problem I had to deal with throughout the entire 3 months. You see ARAN contracts out the clerical end of the business. Everything except the doctors are on a separate contract. Nice huh? As a result, the doctors really have no authority over what happens- or care. Lacking responsibility the doctors use it to their advantage throwing their hands up in the end. They all know it too. Its a game to them. Lacks integrety Anyway, they said the diplopia would clear up later. 3 months I am still seeing double. I tell the doctor ******* on my exit exam. ***************** freaks out explaining now HE has a problem he has to deal with. Then he writes an order for a ***, STAT because he thinks its a tumor in my head pressing on it. Also wants to see me in a month. I then begin to schedule appointments with the *** office 3 times over the month. Each week called back and cancelled because ***************** failed to send what they calll clinicals over to the *** office so the insurance can be approved. Also each week scheduling and cancelling a ride to the *** appoint. The *** office called the good Doctor ******* at ARAN, three times to request clinical. I been trying to reach anyone there and my Retinologist even called to no avail. So I am finished dealing with them.I never knew of a poorer service business. There is nobody to complain to and know one cares anyway.

I arrived at 9:45am for a scheduled 10:00am appointment with these people. When I arrived there were 9 people sitting in the waiting room. I signed in and took a seat. Afterwards several more people came in for their appointments. After sitting for 1hour 15 minutes (11:00am), they called in one of the people who signed in after me and I got upset and expressed my feelings saying this isn't fair! She said I know and I'm sorry. Shortly thereafter around 11:15am, they called on another person who signed in after me. I really got upset and approached the receptionist window again and the young lady said she doesn't do the scheduling and I told her it shouldn't matter, how can someone who's been here 20 minutes be called in front of me? They offered another apology. After speaking to a few people in the room, I discovered they also had 10:00am appointments. Now I understood why a few people came into the office and expressed bad words toward this company. I also understand why they have a ****** ratings of 1.5 stars. I would rate them 0 stars if I could but I have to select at least a 1. This practice of overbooking to acquire money is outrageous!
