on March 20th 2023 I went to ************* located in *********** office of Care Resource Organization for my annual check-up. According to Florida Blue, my health insurance, It is a Doctor visit without copay for me. I let all the office staff and included ************* that I was there for only my annual check-up. I made sure of this asking the receptionist at the front desk it there was any copay of my part. She said to me no at all. Later I received by mail (Doc attached) a bill for that visit of $40 dollars which i never paid. I immediately complained to the manager *******. She tried to justify their mistake in different ways such as I forgot to tell before the appointment that I was there for annual check-up. Of course, I did and proved that I let everybody know before I left the office. Later, she said to me that I did not qualify because it did not past 365 days from last visit. Florida Blue advised me this is incorrect. I do qualify by year calendar for a once a year annual visit check-up. The manager agreed to fix the problem and take care of their mistake by sending an e-mail to accounting.Billing statements continue coming to date, almost a year later. I feel the manager lied to me because accounting said the they never get anything and I should talk to the office where I saw the Doctor. *********** Resouces to stop billing me and let me know my balance is $0.00.It is not right that any patient leaves the office without accurate cost information of any co-payment or if he will be billed in the future. Doing so is misleading the patient. It is also misleading to tell the patient the problem will be fixed and a year later still billing are coming
