Complaint Title:Denied Refund for Unused Toyoguard Package on Total Loss Vehicle Complaint Body:I ****** Julin *********, leased a 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross (VIN *****************) from West Kendall Toyota on September 24, 2023. My vehicle was recently declared a total loss by my insurance company.The vehicle included a Toyoguard protection package, which was added by Southeast Toyota Distributors before the dealer received the car. While the dealer claims they didnt sell me the package, the cost was included in the gross capitalized cost of my lease meaning I paid for it as part of the total lease amount.Toyota Corporate confirmed that Toyoguard is not a factory-installed product, and that it is added regionally and carries a cost. This means it was not a complimentary feature and should be refundable if unused.Since the vehicle is now a total loss and no future owner will benefit from that package, I am requesting a prorated refund of the unused Toyoguard coverage. However, the dealer is refusing to process the refund or submit a request to Southeast Toyota, even though this is standard procedure in such cases.I am seeking assistance to obtain the appropriate refund for a product that I paid for but did not get to use due to circumstances beyond my control.Initial Complaint

On January 2, 2024 I bought a vehicle at the dealer and the financier *************************** lied to me about the value of the vehicle, he said it would cost me $37,000 and at the end of the day he put me this extra services he included without my authorization and knowledge $699 of an extra service called toyoguard And also paint protection for $250. These values are not broken down in the contract of my vehicle. I called to talk to the sales manager ******* and he said that they can't remove it because it comes from the factory like that. It is a 100% optional service and I want the money back.I find this situation dishonorable because at no time did they mention to me if I wanted these services, they put this just because, which affects my financial situation.Initial Complaint

On July 01, 2023 I traveled to ***** to see my newborn grandson. My Tire became flat on the road. Due to the dangerous situation I visited West Kendall Toyota (Kendall Dealer) on ***** Sw 136th. *****, ** ***** where I had service Advisor ***** *************************** advise me that a replacement for a brand now tire would be $333.93. My customer number is ******* and name *************************. I explained to the advisor and service manager ******* that those tires have nation wide ********************* for 24 months so I shouldn't have had to pay for the tires. The service advisor in Courtesy Toyota ******* ****** ************************* had advise ***** in Kendall that this should be covered. To my surprise the Kendall Dealer chose to ignore any insurance of road hazard and charged me the full price. A complaint was filed with Toyota with confirmation #************ and I have not received a response. This situation appears to be very sketchy and it doesn't look good on the Toyota from Kendall. It just seems like I was sold a package but Toyota Kendall is fraudulently declining. Its very easy to charge a client in need on the spot but there is such a lack of taking responsibility and refunding this full amount back. I really feel like I got taken advantage because of my situation and its just not right to do this to a customer. I expect a full refund as a expected of the $333.93 amount. The original tire I bought which had the Road Hazard was SKU#****** part# SE00******TO and it had 24 months of covered from 11/30/2022. Size of tire P245/55R19. On November 21st last year I leased a new 2022 Toyota Rav4 XLE (stock #W403395) from West Kendall Toyota. Upon delivery the salesman gave me only one key fob for the car. He said Toyota was having "supply chain issues" and a second key fob would be sent to me in a month. I am writing this in June 2023 and I still have not received the second key fob. I have left messages with the salesman- no reply. The service department tells me I need to "take it up with the sales department". A few weeks ago I took the car in for its first service and went to the sales department to talk to a manager. I was told to take a seat at one of the tables in the sales area and someone would come to talk to me. I waited 25 minutes and of course, I was completely ignored. I got a call from the service department that the car was ready so I left. I am bitterly disappointed with the terrible attitude shown by this dealership. If I do not receive the second key fob this will be the last car I ever buy or lease from them. The ball is in their court.Initial Complaint

West Kendall Toyota service **** damaged my white 2017 Toyota tundra limited roof when I went for an oil change. I had to be approximately 4 weeks without my truck as they took truck to body shop. To add insult to injury, I had to spend time and money a second time , because I couldnt see out of the truck back window do to something called over spray. The assistant service manager ******* advise he was going to give me the detail work order for my records. *** called him and email numerous of times. He doesnt respond. This all happened January 3,2023. He even promised new running boards for the tundra for my inconvenience. I need a copy of the detail work order ( im not sure of the terminology ) but a copy of what they did to the vehicle, and new running boards like he promised. Also to make sure this doesnt happen to anybody else. There are not a good company to do business with. Ive add a police report.Initial Complaint

Employees were unprofessional from start. Attempted to charge $4,000 over sticker price due to the market. We finally placed an order for a vehicle in November 27, 2022. December 31, 2022 that our vehicle would arrive in 3 days. Finally arriving at the dealership and they tell us they have to give us our deposit back because they dont have the vehicle anymore. I recently purchased (12/3/2022) a vehicle from west kendall Toyota. Let me start by saying they staff was very friendly and nice to my wife, sons and myself. I had put a deposit on a incoming vehicle and when it came in I went to the dealership. However the day before its arrival the dealership advertised a dealership discount on their website for the same vehicle (Same VIN). When I showed them their ad. Which by the way was still active on the internet, they stated "Oh thats management posting that to get people in the door then the sales staff has to tell them thats not going to happen." I could understand if it was a typo or mistake but it clearly was not. They even stated it wasn't and "thats how they do business". To me that it illegal. I have bought many car and know the process. Bad for the sales staff , they will never see me or that vehicle again. Only reason why we bought it was because it was exaclty what my wife wanted and we had already been waiting over 5 weeks for it to arrive.?Initial Complaint

On September 22, I took my car to perform a service and they charged me twice and still today, October 25, they have not returned the money. I have called several times and they say that the manager is going to call me and I am still waiting for the call from him. The professionalism of this company is horrible, a company that has so much money. he steals money from the people who are going to service his vehicles, how is it possible that they take so long to return money, he does not have professionalism or ethics to work with the public.The name of the manager is ******************
