1 starMy loan officer was great. Everything else about my experience with Lennar was abysmal. They lied/withheld information until long after they had my ******* money. They waited until after I paid $600 for a third party inspection to say that on top of the down payment, they wanted 2 months worth of mortgage in my bank account, which somehow totaled $17,000 dollars?? The mortgage was going to be less than $2,000, so I have no idea where the $17,000 figure came from. I was told when I applied that all they would need is 30 days of paystubs from my new job after I moved. Then, after I sent weeks gathering all the random paperwork they wanted and stressing over that, less than two weeks from our closing date, they hit me with the "yeah, you need $17,000 in your account on top of the $10,000 you need for the down payment." I am not rich, my family is not rich. I have a good paying job, but it would take at least 4 months of paychecks to total $17,000 IF I didn't have bills like rent of my current residence, car payment, health insurance, etc. How was I supposed to come up with $17,000 in less than two weeks? Who can?? And this was the second home I was under contract with them for. They did paperwork and math incorrectly for the first, and recanted on the approval they had already given me. On top of that, the brand new home I was purchasing had five pages of things that failed the inspection and would have to be fixed prior to sale. I have absolutely nothing good to say about Lennar. I would leave 0 stars if I could. The only positive I had was my loan officer, who is fighting the team to get my ******* money I paid them already back because they were purposefully misleading. If you have literally any other options than Lennar, take them instead. This company has been nothing but frustrating from the start, and their brand new homes aren't even sound. Their "good rates" and "bonuses" are not worth it, nor are they true. You are better off avoiding them entirely.Lennar Mortgage, LLC

1 starThey will steal your ******* money then refuse to give it back to you when youre no longer comfortable giving your money to incompetent or intentionally scammy company. Their director of sales **** ******* blew off my fiance and I for 3+ weeks as we tried to get a hold of him but he is a complete bully and only cares about filling the pockets of himself and this company over helping young couples trying hard to make it in this difficult economy.Lennar Mortgage, LLC

1 starI closed on my home 4 months ago using "Lennar Mortgage" as my lender. Still today, 4 months later, I have having to call the company every 10 days or so because I have received a letter in the mail informing me of delinquencies and penalties that are not accurate. Lennar sold my mortgage to different lender before by first mortgage payment was due, then Lennar charged me for the first month anyway. Im still in the process of correcting that error 3 months later. After being put on hold on the phone for over 2 hours, I'm usually just disconnected. When I do actually contact someone, I get the same useless responses: "We screwed up, and we don't know why you are getting the letters, but I'm definitely not in charge nor responsible, and I don't know who is. Ill put in an order with my manager to correct the problem." 10 days later, exact same problem still exists, and I receive another letter. Furthermore, most of my "urgent notices" arrive nearly 7 - 10 days AFTER the due dates have passed. One of the service representatives even came right out and admitted that their mailing notices are completely automated and not actually managed by a real person. Lennar is a good builder, but their mortgage company is wholly incompetent at managing important paperwork. If you are going to use them as your lender, it would be wise to keep every single piece of paperwork to challenge their incompetence whenever it occurs. That is the only way I have been able to correct any errors.Lennar Mortgage, LLC

1 starTake a tour of mobile homes before you speak with this people. Mobile homes had beautiful design not only shoes box. You can buy some land speak with landlord or people who sale land and accept the mobile homes and get the better design. This shoe boxes houses, to me, are not worth it unless "for some legal issues" you have no choice. Not services around. Not even gas statistics for higher price.remember, police and inmigration will look around.Review fromprasanna t

1 star****** Mortgage is one of the worst options for a home loan. They withhold crucial information unless specifically asked, and their emails often arrive late at night, detailing commitments for the following day. This creates confusion for customers. Their interest rates are also higher than most competitors, at least by 0.5%, with the explanation that they follow a different credit bureau. While they are not rude in behavior, they are unresponsive and fail to acknowledge that many borrowers lack detailed knowledge compared to salespeople. Every point seems structured to favor them, with little regard for the borrowers concerns. No matter how many credits or discounts they offer, seeking alternatives outside of ****** will likely provide a better deal.Lennar Mortgage, LLC

1 starWe had very bad experiences with Lennar on the lack of communication. breach of contract, and moving the closing date. Im also a veteran was prequalified for the loan. The contract doesnt say anything about selling another current home in order to purchase a new home. The sales team and the builders are bad communication skills sounds so sketchy on their part all alway around on their end. I recommend people dont go with them at all mostly in the ************** area. We have learned our ****** from them.Lennar Mortgage, LLC

1 starNo stars. I have attempted to get a mortgage with Lennar 3 times. The first time I turned down flat. The second time i was ghosted by the loan officer without them even looking at my tax and income documentation. The third time was given 3 different preapprovals - that were each walked back after the underwriters and the loan determined they did not have the proper documentation - the last one on the day before I was scheduled to look at the houses. Why would a company give out a preapproval if they did not have all of the documentation to make that decision.I believe that Lennar discriminates again current homeowners because they only wish to sell homes to those currently renting. I was asked to have my current home under contact prior to signing any purchase order for a new home. I have the income to pay 2 mortgages. There have been several glaring inconsistencies in their policies.DON NOT BUY FROM LENNAR!Lennar Mortgage, LLC

1 starThis is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. They have put me through so much having me sign documents and then told me I was clear to close. 2 days before closing they called me and told me I was not approved due to a collection on my previous house which was not true. I sold my previous home and if there were any outstanding debt It would have been addressed in the sale of the home. After checking the debt they told me that it had nothing to do with my previous home it was a personal loan that had been paid off years ago and was not in collections.Lennar Mortgage, LLC
