This website is a scam. They collect sensitive information, and collect payment and then do nothing. I have been demanding a refund and they do not answer. They claim to be responsive, but only respond to request after midnight, and then claim nobody is around to answer. This place should be shutdown, it is unbelievable.

I ordered a Passport thinking it was an actual government sire and would be sending me a complete passport when done. When It arrived it was not what I expected at all also sent an email immediately to GOV Plus requesting a refund and they havent responded here is a complete copy of the email.Subject: Request for Immediate Refund and Notification of BBB Complaint Dear [GOV+ Support Team],I am writing to demand a full refund for the service I purchased, which I now believe was misrepresented. I ordered your service in good faith, expecting a professional and government-affiliated process to secure my passport. Instead, I received only a packet of forms that I still need to fill out and submit myself, along with instructions to pay additional fees totaling $165.This is unacceptable and not what I paid for. As a retired combat veteran, I trusted your company to deliver the service you advertised, and I feel misled.Because of this, I have filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to report what I believe are deceptive practices. Additionally, I intend to alert others, including veterans organizations, to ensure the public is aware of this issue.I am requesting an immediate refund of the full amount I paid. Please confirm receipt of this email and let me know when I can expect the refund to be processed.Thank you for addressing this matter promptly.Sincerely,******, ********

    Business Response

    Hello ****** ,

We would also like to emphasize that GOVPLUS is a private company fully registered under state and local laws and we are committed to providing legitimate and valuable services. Our website prominently states that we are not associated with any government agency. We provide a detailed breakdown of the services we offer, along with their associated fees. Customers have the option to choose to complete applications directly through the associated government websites at no additional cost. We also offer Identity and Document Protection and automatic renewals for documents that have limited validity. While we are not affiliated with, nor a substitute for, official government websites, we take great care to deliver premium services tailored to those who appreciate technology, prioritize convenience, accuracy, and support. Our team works hard to anticipate common pain points and streamline these steps to save users valuable time and effort. GOV+ is also a certified IRS E-filer and authorized by ************************************ (FinCEN) and Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI), GOV+ ensures a secure and reliable experience.

We noticed that our team has already assisted you with your refund requests on December 7th and December 13th. The refund has been fully processed, and email confirmations have been sent to you. For your reference, we have attached the receipts to this message again.

Additionally, on December 13th at 11:13 AM, our representative **** attempted to contact you via phone. While the call was unsuccessful, she left a voice message to ensure you were informed.

We would also like to clarify some details regarding your complaint. Our services have been rendered and your customized package was delivered to you on December 7th, which included the required materials for your passport application. The forms provided were pre-filled, eliminating the need for you to complete them manually, contrary to the concerns raised in your complaint.

The $165 payment you made was converted into two checks, issued by our company as part of our services:

$35: Payable at your in-person passport application appointment at the nearest **** Passport Acceptance Facility.
$130: Payable to the Department of State for your passport book.

Initially, your refund request was delayed because we kindly requested proof that the checks were voided, to ensure they were not used. Despite our services being rendered in full and not receiving this confirmation, we proceeded with full refunds as a gesture of goodwill. We only intend to keep customers who understand and value our ***********************. Refund confirmation emails were sent multiple times as well. Since your requests for refunds have been processed, we recommend that you securely dispose of the checks we issued by tearing or shredding them, as they have been voided on our end.  Please allow 3-5 business days, holidays are excluded, for the refund to post as bank processing times vary. GOV+ considers this matter to be resolved.

We regret that you still had to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau after your requests were processed and a follow up was done for you.  However, our priority is customer satisfaction. ********************** considers this matter closed.
