    After filing a claim with my insurance company and having issues I contacted your insurance attorney. I have a court order that states that my ex-husband's signature is not required on documentation pertaining to this insurance claim. Your insurance attorney assured me the court order would be sufficient to proceed with the claim and to receive the insurance settlement. This was in August we are now in the end of January your insurance attorney is now telling me I am on my own they are not able to complete the process of the claim as they insured. Your insurance attorney took my case under under a false promise and has now been unable to deliver and is now holding my insurance settlement payment hostage for lack of a better term because as the court order says my ex-husband refuses to cooperate and his signature is not required. Your insurance attorney has made no attempts to rectify the issue only told me that I am in the same situation I was in before hiring them. Which completely defeats the purpose of hiring them in the first place and also because they have a hold on the insurance claim I am not able to just go through my mortgage company and endorse the check to them. This is a scam!

    Prior to and subsequent to the customer's complaint, the firm has been working to reach a resolution in the best interest of the client. Since the filing of the complaint, we have been in constant contact with the client and identified a solution to the issue presented by third parties. We are happy to report that the issue has been largely resolved and the matter is in the process of administrative closure.     Good afternoon, 

    Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We apologize for any perceived inconvenience. Unfortunately, our clients insurance company went into receivership and the claim was assumed by the Florida Insurance ******************** (FIGA). However, our firm was able to negotiate a favorable resolution with FIGA to the clients satisfaction. Once the insurance proceeds were issued, the firm needed cooperation from the customer and their mortgage company in order to fully endorse the check. The customer filed their complaint with the ******************** on July 8, 2024 requesting the desired settlement of [c]ontact by the business. Our firm was able to have a telephone conference with the customer on July 12, 2024. The firm followed up with written correspondence on July 15, 2024 memorializing the call and requesting further contact to finalize the check processing sequence with the mortgage company. This process is required under Florida law before the firm can deliver the proceeds to the customer. We look forward to the anticipated cooperation from the customer and their mortgage company so that the firm may finalize payment. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

    On 4/1/2024 a water leak from the shower was discovered in my house. On 4/3/2024 I filled a claim with the home insurance company- Claim # ************* On 4/5/2024 I sign up with Your Insurance Attorney company that promised to take care of everything and at no cost to me. I continued to be in contact with the home insurance, looked and scheduled several quotes from contractors and finally signed up with one of them to get repairs going. The contractor started work on 4/22/24.All this time I spent money on purchasing materials for the renovation.All this time have never heard fromYour Insurance Attorney. When I called the home insurance to ask what their estimate for the repair was, they told me that it was sent to the attorney on 4/12/24. The attorney never contacted me, never let me know what they found, never initiated contact. I finally contacted them, and every time I got the desk that found several excused not to put me in contact with the person in charge of my case. I called at least 10 times with no result or meaningful discussion.On 4/19/24, I finally got hold of *************************/claims representative and asked her about the papers received from insurance and what I need to do to terminate my relationship with her company. I was advised to write a letter to that extend, which I did on 4/21/24. Never heard from them again until I asked the insurance when will I receive the check for the work because I need to pay the workers. Home insurance advised me that the checks were sent to lawyers, which have not told me about them not even today. After requesting to talk to supervisor, attorneys, etc, I was told somebody will get back to me. As of today 5/2/24 nobody contacted me. We are leaving in dust, chaos, and displaced and Your Insurance Attorney have not done anything to help, but wants the money that home insurance provided for repairs. They need to write a letter to the home insurance, telling them that our contract has been terminated. Thanks
