I put my information into a website called Otto insurance and they keep having random people call and Email me. I would like to have my information deleted from they're system. It's very disturbing. That have sold my 'PERSONAL' information to several 3rd party insurance carriers..averaging ***** calls per day and numerous Emails. They 'ARE NOT' an insurance broker...They just sell my 'Personal' information to anyone..'I want my information deleted - permanently from their system!!Business response

I put my information into a website called otto insurance and they keep having random people call me. they sure with me my personal information and try to conference call a major auto insurance and it doesn't go thru. I would like to have my information deleted from they're system. It's very unsettling.Business response

**** Quotes, LLC, dba Otto Insurance is a scam - they do NOT provide any quotes, and there is NO ONE with which to speak w/ directly @ **** HQ. We contacted the company owner ****** *********************** (May 1976)who lives in his $2.6************ condo in *********** (****************************************************************) on his cell *************) - he would not answer, and played inane tag text games to avoid us. **** does not answer the phone - instead, they take all of your personal info from their required online form, and some 3rd-party marketing company calls, asks more questions, and then connects you w/ some random insurance provider. **** does NOT do ANY comparisons to get you any lower or even competitive pricing, and each time we call back we get a different or same insurance provider, who never is able to even come close to the insurance savings we already enjoy, especially for a family w/ 3 high-end autos, 830+ credit score, owned home, no DUIs, no accidents, and no tickets. So all **** does is send our info to many, many insurance providers, hoping they will sign us up and **** would get a commission. Even the insurance companies that called us told us that. To add insult to injury, the info **** collected has been sent to so many insurance providers and marketing firms that we are inundated w/ unwanted calls, texts, and emails, constantly, and there is no way to unsubscribe or remove your info from the list.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:They claim they "... consumers with major insurance carriers to receive an insurance quote" - that is untrue and their advertising is deceptive. They claim to be an insurance provider and will quickly compare rates and provide discounted quotes fast and easily. This is a lie - they have 3rd parties not related to **** call you, and then patch you through to 1 random insurance company, who never is able to provide a quote that is reasonable. We want **** to refrain from this ridiculous method of misleading the consumer.

I am rejecting this response because they lie - still getting emails and calls. And we mainly reject this as we want them to change their misleading advertising and claims that have wasted a lot of our time and have given all of our info to many "partners" and did not provide any comparison quotes as promised.

They continually send unsolicited lies about having car insurance quotes. They will not take no for an answer. Here is some other information (a few of the many bad reviews):Otto Insurance Reviews: Quotes, Ratings (2023)Otto insurance is a lead-generation site connecting customers with its partner insurers. Its not an insurance company or marketplace, you cant get direct quotes, and it shares your information with over ***** third parties.They called me ~12 times within 3-4 hours from several numbers, so I couldn't block them. I answered twice and asked them to stop. I understand sales calls, but this is blatant ************** will be filing a report with the appropriate government agencies. Don't give your information to this website unless you want your phone to ring incessantly.Date of experience: September 25, 2022 They will have random companies calling you as soon as you put your information in and they have no way to opt out of the calls any longer. This is misleading and unethical Date of experience: April 27, 2023 Otto Insurance fools you I saw ad about Otto Insurance, which offers cheap auto insurance rate. I am rejecting this response because: They continue to make offers to buy insurance from someone else. They are Brokers and we have told them over and over again we are NOT interested. Yet, theycontinue to send unwanted emails. What they want is my personal information to sell to up to **** insurance agents/companies. Then can you imagine the phone calls and emails you would get from up to ****
insurance agents?
