    On 11/15/2023 I filled out an information card so that I could use their compare rate calculator online.The following morning I received over 40 phone calls from the same call center using a different number each time. I was harassed, hung up on and told I was a dumb #ss for filing out the information online. I cannot use my phone as I receive a call every 10 minutes from them. I cannot block the number, when I ask what company they represent, they hang up. I do not know how this company expects to do business with anyone like this. It is straight up harassment. I have tried to block the numbers yet it is one number different each time. They call from a fake number that does not look up online. I need this to stop. This website is a fraud and they just sell your information to harassing call centers. BBB needs to step up and handle this, I see I am one of MANY with the same story. If this is not resolved I will take it up with the department of consumer protection and the ******* attorney general. This company needs to see what type of call centers they sell your information to. They swear, hang up on you and harass you even after asking not to be contacted. I am on the *** list as well. Help please....

    Although the response to my complaint was word for word the exact response that was given to the last 6 identical complaints to mine.  If I receive another marketing call, I will refile this complaint.

    I received an email claiming I could get healthcare quotes for the upcoming year, but in reality, I received no relevant information and my information was immediately sold. I was unable to submit requests for removing my personal information from their site, and unable to submit a request to not sell my information. My phone is now ringing off the hook non-stop with spammers and solicitors and there is no REAL option on their sites allowing the removal of personal information. The entire situation from the first email was essentially a phishing scheme to get my contact information and I'm livid! What a terribly immoral company, they should have their website removed for unethical behavior.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is minimally satisfactory. Once personal information goes out online, it is practically impossible to retrieve it, and I will be sorting through spam emails and phone calls for the foreseeable future. A better resolution would be to require this business to change it's predatory tactics- more people will be taken advantage of, and addressing one complaint does absolutely nothing to solve the larger issue at hand. This company is using fraudulent tactics to elicit contact information from people requesting health insurance quotes and immediately selling that information, in addition to never providing health insurance quotes as promised. Do better.

    Today, 10/23/2023 I went to quotesmatch.com and then received multiple calls for insurance and I wish to be taken off of the call list and email list. I clicked their "Do Not Sell My Info." tab and was taken to multiple options which then had me verify my decision via email. I tried calling them using their home insurance number and was then mocked by the person who answered after I requested to be taken off the call list. My information was sent out to places that I did not want it to be sent to. Please help me resolve this stressful situation.

    In September of 2023 I was looking for competitive rates for insurance and wanted to compare. The website didnt actually compare insurance rates, it just wanted more information from me so they could harass me by selling my information off to thousands of providers. It is extremely misleading! People want to compare rates but all they do is sell off your information. The BBB needs to step up and take action against these people. The marketing emails dont even have a legitimate method of contacting Excel, you have to reverse look up the address and try to call them, in which no one answers the phone. I also submitted a request to stop receiving emails but it doesnt work, you only stop receiving emails from 1 of the thousands of companies they sold your information to. BBB, please help me! And please look into this companies intrusive tactics and experience what they are doing to people. I receive marketing emails non-stop and the company does nothing about it!

    On 8/22/2023 I made the mistake of giving my phone and email address to this company on one of their health insurance sites. In less than 24 hours I have recieved almost a hundred spam calls at all hours and times from different numbers so they are impossible to block. I have attached an example of receiving 7 calls in 7 minutes which is completely and utterly unacceptable. This reeks of irresponsible selling of data and when you request to not be called and have your account info deleted through their privacy portal you will still be contacted anyways so it is essentially a useless feature. I should not have to change my phone number to escape these calls if it is within your ability to stop them from calling.

    I regretfully submitted my contact information and have been non-stop harassed by callers and people sending me text messages. I have no respect for this type of business. Come on.. there is no way that this approach is that successful. My phone number is on the Do Not Call list already. I asked several of the people to stop contacting me and to ask HealthPlanRate.com to remove me. I even called HPR to ask them to remove me from their list and they just hung up on me. Beware, everyone. Interestingly, if you look at their website call number, the number changes every time you refresh the page. I think they should be shut down and removed from the internet....

    On 4/24/23 I requested health insurance quotes. I have been bombarded with phone calls every few minutes for 2 days. This is terrible!! I finally turned my phone off. Looking at prior complaints, this issue has been continuing for several years with other people and nothing is done. Someone needs to fine them big time or close them down!!

    After entering information to obtain health insurance cost my phone has been repeatedly called every few minutes. I have told them to remove me from the list and put on a do not call but I still receive multiple calls.

    on Sunday April 16 2023 I entered my phone number and email to this website: ************************************************** told that in order to explore health insurance options I needed to provide this information. Since yesterday I have received over 100 calls and am unable to use my phone due to the high call volume.I called the company at this number ************** to ask them to remove my phone number from their list so that I will stop being harassed.The first person who answered, after I said "please remove me from your call list" immediately hung up the phone. The second time I called and said the same thing the person on the phone mocked me, repeating what I said in a silly voice and then hung up the phone. The third person laughed at me and told me there is nothing they will do.

    I signed up for a health quote and now recieve over 40 calls per day. I have gone to the website and specifically selected within the privacy portal the following: "Do not Call' "Delete my Data" Do not Sell my Data" and "Do not Email." I am then (each time) prompted to input my address/email/number/name/legal signature to confirm that it is me, and then have to confirm again via email to process my request. I have not received any email from them as promised to confirm my identity and process the request, and continue to be contacted. All I wish is to stop being contacted.
